That's the pre-order bonus for Japan.

Just to make it clear, Torisu is our RSG representative. Say hello and please make him feel welcome!

Sadly, still no confirmation if they're supporting the pre-order bonus...
Unfortunately some retailers haven't yet updated their websites. The bonus isn't exclusive to any particular retailer - all are participating. If you remain uncertain please contact the retailer to confirm.
First of all, thanks for the reply, although it's a bit odd that I get one here before getting one here.

I figure RSG doesn't want to give off the impression of favoring specific retailers by mentioning them directly, but the retailers not mentioning a bonus that would help them ensure customers is also pretty weird.
Would I be reading too much into the "_some_ retailers haven't yet updated" bit if I took it to mean some already have? By inference, it would be nice to know which ones, and I wonder if it own be that troublesome for RSG to reward their diligence by outright naming them...

It's still pretty weird that they've updated a release date without updating further information - the american Amazon contemplates its own pre-order bonus in its KoF XIII page, and I take it the UK version runs on a similar enough template to apply something like that while in the process o changing the release date. Other than this, I'm not sure how to address amazon.co.uk about that specific product, and that looks mostly like a way for them to let users talk among themselves...

I'm all for using the Amazon redirect from ON once I have a confirmation, but for now I'd really rather play it safe.
Hi, sorry I missed your post on our forums.

Does amazon.co.uk even deliver to Portugal? I ask because acquaintances of mine who live overseas (France, Spain, USA) tell me amazon.co.uk won't deliver outside the UK and Ireland - USA customers have been ordering DoDonPachi Resurrection from amazon.de, for example.

I'm afraid I can't be much help at this time in regard to specific retailers. So far as I know, all are participating but again, if your preferred retailer hasn't explicitly talked about the pre-order on the retailer's website, I can only recommend getting in touch with them. Amazon.co.uk has a Contact Us form that includes "pre-order" among the options for the subject line (I think you need an amazon.co.uk account, though):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/contact ... _id=471044" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We chase retailers to update their information. When I hear any news / updates I'll post here and on our forums to keep you all informed.

Thanks,

torisu

Thank you Torisu for your input, i'm also a fan from Portugal ( 1st time posting here even) and i can assure you that Amazon.co.uk does deliver to Portugal, since i buy 90% of my games and gaming apparel from them. I to was interested in knowing about the pre-order details since i really want the sweet deal of getting those 4 cds. I was even going to Pre-order it from the States just to get them. Anyways i bet Amazon will have the pre-order bonus they are just being lazy in updating... i hope. Thanks for all the hard work RSG as been putting in spreading the word around Europe about KoF XIII.

On another note just would like to say " HI" to all the fellow KoF fans in here, long time lurker, finally with XIII i decided it was "Time to get Serious" and Register.

Cya around.

For most things I never really had any trouble ordering from there - there may have been some odd particular instance where order don't apply, but those are the exception, not the rule - and for KoF XIII it seems they're making deliveries free in the UK, so I'm expecting deliveries to work normally, with that expense.

Thanks for the tip, just used that - it might be a good idea for others to give it a try if they don't update that soon enough.

Ialready got a reply from Amazon regarding the pre-order enquiry:

-----
Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.

After looking into your enquiry, I understand that you wish to know the pre-order bonus information for "King of Fighters XIII".

For details on all our current Pre-Order Promotions, you can find the information at the following URL:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html ... 1000299573" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you have seen a Pre-Order Promotion on a Video Game product sold on another website, possibly even Amazon.com, Amazon.fr or Amazon.de, but do not see the same offer listed on Amazon.co.uk, it means that the Promotion is not available on Amazon.co.uk.

We are always seeking ways to improve the customer experience of shopping on Amazon.co.uk, but we regret we cannot tell customers about any offers that may be available at a future time.

Thank you for your interest in Amazon.co.uk

Did I solve your problem?

If yes, please click here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/survey? ... ZP3FE&k=hy" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If no please click here
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/survey? ... ZP3FE&k=hn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The replay was fairly speedy, but the issue wasn't directly ackowledged or investigated - I wouldnt have minded a delay in the reply if it meant they'd get the facts straightened out... for my part, I even provided the RSG plot post link mentioning the pre-order info...
Anway, they have a page listing games subjected to pre-order bonuses and KoF XIII isn't in it.

Ah - perhaps Amazon.co.uk won't deliver to a country that has an Amazon... there is no Amazon.pt, for example, but there is an Amazon.fr, Amazon.es.

Quick notes
- He has his f+B instead of regular Iori's df+C
- He has his Yamibarai, Oniyaki, Kototsuki In and Aoibana.
- EX Yamibarai behaves like his old Ya Sakazuki/Eight Wine Cups DM
- EX Kototsuki is a different move from the regular version. It might have uses besides just landing it normally?
- No Saika after EX Yaotome
- Which Iori is more powerful? Depends on your play style preferences (lol)
- There are a bunch of little differences between regular Iori and flame Iori:
1) You can't recovery roll after regular Iori's Yaotome, but you can after flame Iori's
2) Regular Iori's EX Yaotome will pass through a Psycho Ball, while flame Iori's won't
So even if they share some of the same moves there are subtle differences you'll pick up on while playing.
- Flame Iori's stage is a remake of the KOF'95 rival team stage with 'those three' in the background (the USA Sports Team, lol). There are also some details that will surprise Iori fans in the background

Looking at the videos, he can DC his regular Aoibana into his EX Aoibana...which leads to juggle possibilities.

I wonder what 'details' they've added to the stage, tried full screening the video but didn't notice anything new compared to the iOS version. Only thing i did notice was Candy Diamond was not on the scrap heap like the iOS version. :lol:

Maybe it's random like several other cameos - as for the 'details', sounds like the US sports team, and maybe Eiji.

Amazon.co.uk is still weird - its page for KoF XIII now has a thumbnail pic as it it were some game screenshot mentioning the pre-order items, but still no mention of pre-order bonuses in the actual page: http://www.amazon.co.uk/King-of-Fighter ... 765&sr=8-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The game is still not listed among those with a pre-order bonus: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html ... 1000299573" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I frankly don't understand how come they update the release date early (so they could access important information in a timely manner and update it accordingly) and toss that pic in there mentioning the bonuses, but don't clearly mention them where they're supposed to, what the hell is going on?...

For the meantime just in case i moved my Pre-order to SHopto.net, at least there they acknowledged the existence of the pre-order bonus and have info about it.

If Amazon.uk updates their stuff i'll probably order from them to support ON but i'm really not feeling this mess.

On another note.

I'm gonna buy the game for Ps3 when it comes out, but during Christmas i'm gonna buy a 360 and Kof XIII for that to, i was wondering, since the majority of the competitive scene in Europe( when it comes to Fighting games) plays on 360, specially with 2k2 UM on Live etc. I would like to know for witch console everyone is going to buy it and play more on?

We ran a poll on that a while back - most of us are on PS3.
