I just finished all five seasons of The Wire in record time. Great show, great characters, certainly one of the best shows I've seen, but all those critics that think it's really realistic need to check themselves. Adam Smith-studying drug dealers? Cops who make up serial killers? C'mon. It's great drama, but realism it ain't. We and critics don't know it because we don't deal drugs, that's all.

Seems lots of people watch House, including a couple of my friends. What's so good about it? Should I be in on it? ?:|Also hear great things about Battlestar Galactica

Great shows have been: Peep Show, Spaced, I'm Alan Partridge, The Estate Agents, The Office, X Files, My So-Called Life, Wonder Years, Married With Children.

Best is still Seinfeld though. Doesn't get any better than that.

I watched the entire series through like a month? I did the last season on my last day off hahahahaha shit is looooooooooong sometimes. Kinda wished they had someone hotter on the show :o not to say the male actors weren't good looking but damn too much sausage hahahahaha. I want to go backwards and watch Homicide.

I don't watch House but the one episode I did watch was pretty cool. I enjoy shows that has a bit of irony/sarcasm/humour (Mentalist comes to mind) but I also appreciate the full on dramas (Sopranos Mad Men Deadwood).

I need more bandwidth for Tales from the Crypt!

Recently watched seasons 1 and 2 of Mad Men. I really like this show--it makes me want to be an Advertising Exec in NYC in the 1960s. Definitely enjoyable. Also waiting for the new season of House and 24. Picked up the last BSG DVD set today so I hope to sit down sometime and watch the whole series straight through. Also have been watching Monty Python's Flying Circus online on Netflix, and I have Life on Mars (UK), Californication, Rescue Me and other in my DVD queue. Also, some eps of Being Human I need to watch, and for some reason, I've been itching to watch the entire Twin Peaks again.

Mad Men has been receiving a lot of praise for its realistic portrayal of the 1960s from its values back in the day (smoking in-doors for example) and i've been enjoying it as well just sometimes it can get a bit ... dull cause the dialog is just so boring (for me at least). I'd like to see it move onto the 70s one day and see how the work environment as well as their society begins to change ... cause I can't stand the (female) hairdos of the 60s hahahahah

New seasons are all coming back again. Anyone checking out Flashforward? It seems pretty good atm. Heroes is sucking 4 balls as opposed to just two now ... Mentalist oh man too good. And new Stargate god damn I was left wanting more at the end of the premiere

Here's what I'm following this season:
The Mentalist
Heroes
Castle
The Office
Flashforward
Stargate Universe

i was thinking about rewatching Twin Peaks, and while reading about it a show called Wild Palms got mentioned as spawned from, along the lines, me too etc.
Anyone watched it? Are there any other shows from the time that sort of followed in Twin Peaks tracks?
