The Czech team impressed me. I had never seen them play, and I thought they were pretty good. Here's hoping they beat Italy and get 1st place in Group E.

I wouldn't say that. Mexico surely had a way worst time playing with Iran, specially because their rivals were skilled and played good.

Iran screwed it up when Mexico scored the 2nd goal.

I gotta see the Japan vs Australia game later (if Televisa re-broadcasts it), but from what my friends said, it was pretty average (not shit, not great).

Oh, and I want South Korea to be OUT, so people stops sucking their dick.

Whoa those were some good matches today.

Japan's goal was bollocks, but then they got denied an obvious pen later, so I guess that cancels out. But they lost, as a lot of teams are losing in this WC, because they can't score. Neither Oz nor Jp play with a defensive midfielder, so it just so wide open in the middle. Unfortunately Jp couldn't capitalise on the good breaks they had, and they were good breaks. In Nakamura and Nakata they've two excellent midfielders for possession, and their strikers are good at moving to receive the ball. If only they could bloody shoot. And cross. It was too intricate at times - if the opportunities there you've got to get that ball in the box early, otherwise the defense regroups fast.

USA are scrubs. No offensive creativity whatsoever. Czechs were ace though. England could learn something from them on how to play when your main goal threats are midfielders.

Ghana impressed me a lot, even if they lost. Their movement in midfield and going forward was just beautiful. Again, shame about the strikers. And they're attrocious at defending crosses as well. Italy were okay. I'm glad they came out to play football and didn't sit on their lead, but I'm not impressed by their midfield. Once again it seems like a great deal of the team is made up of worker bees, with a heavy reliance on a few great attacking players.

I predict Croatia will draw against Brazil and that Fra-Swi will be a horrible match. And I'll stick my neck out and predict that Togo will be the lone truly awful team in this WC.

I wanna watch the France match and see how Henry fares.

Arsenal's Rosicky gave the fans a mouth watering taste of what is to come. Let's hope he gets to treat his EPL opponents the same way he danced around the Americans.

Australia deserved to win, Japan's goal was really, really wrong, it pained me to watch Schwarzer's face after the goal. But then I think Japan lost out physically, they didn't have the stamina or confidence and got to play a part in one of the most exciting comebacks so far in this tournament - the losers.

Wait, it is the ONLY come from behind win so far... yes?

The Italians scored a good first goal. Pirlo's shot right into the bottom corner.

EDIT: WTF @ that site.

This World Cup has been pretty good so far.

Australia performed great during it's first match against Japan, and could easily be the best match in the tournament till now, IMO.

2nd has to be Argentina vs Coit de'vior/Ivory Coast. Not bad for the newcomers, despite their defeat. Let's hope their other matches turn out well for 'em.

Worst is, obviously, England vs Paraguay. I dunno if I'd laugh or cry at the fact that England played so poorly, or that they "won" by a stupid mistake done from the Paraguain side.

Teams I'm rooting for are the same for every WC: Arab/African teams (Except Saudi, which I know it'll get owned hard like every WC. Rooting for Tunisia in tommorow's match more, however - but I expect it'll be a good old "0-0" in the end.). I'd figure someone out there needs to support the bottom tiers.

I'm looking forward to see the Brazil/Croatia match the most from tonight's list. Let's see if Croatia can suprise us...

Heh. We will be grateful if Korea could at least tie the game (against Switzerland).

I do think that Korea will lose horribly to France though. -_-

France 0 - 0 Switzerland.

From what my pals told me, the game was pretty boring :( Can someone explain the details, please?
