You know wrestling's in a sorry state when:

Lately I'm finding it hard to watch past the first half-hour of any WWE show. I have a feeling that the current storylines are the result of too many injuries screwing up whatever they really had planned for the season.

TNA is killing all of the old ECW guys. Shane Douglas and Jerry Lynn work backstage, Rhyno and "Team 3-D" (God, I hate that name) aren't moving ahead at all, and Raven supposedly lost his job!

TNA is also making some of the guys who were pretty badass in ROH into jobbers.

Chris Sabin is pretty cool, but why does he have an alien on his ass? Austin Aries and Alex Shelley are alright, too.

BTW I though Buh Buh Ray and Devon couldn't use the name Dubley because it belonged to the WWE? So why is it that they changed their names (Brother Ray and Brother Devon? What the hell is that? They're priests now? Maybe they should team form a team with Christopher Daniels) but not the name of their finishing move? Doesn't 3D stand for "Dudley Death Drop"? Or does it stand for something else now?

Team 3D just won the nwa tag titles at the last ppv, that's not moving ahead? Rhyno was main eventing up till Christian came in.

Fatboy Raven sucks and lost his job due to losing to Xpac, strangely enough Kip James aka Billy Gunn and BG James aka Road Dogg just reformed, wonder what will happen next?

Shane Douglas and Lynn work backstage out of choice methinks. Who are these ROH jobbers you speak of?

The bottom line is, TNA is innovative, and truly has more action. WWE is just boring. Even with Benoit, it's gotten stale. I don't want to see another HITC match, I don't want to see an FU, STFU, HBK superkick, godaddy dance or another goddam pedigree again for quite a while. BORING! BORING! Not even joey styles could make me watch it.

As soon as Dave won the belt, there was nothing to look forward to.

I hope Van Damn has some new moves, otherwise zzzzzzzzz

No, they lost. And Christian "Cage" sucks. Why is he considered one of the best things to happen to TNA?

Kenny King, Jay Lethal, and a few other guys that I can't remember.

TNA matches only last a couple of minutes, and most of them are against jobbers. And their Iron Man matches only last 30 minutes, even when they're on pay-per-view.

oh yeah lol i forgot they got robbed of the titles but that's just prolonging a fued. they're obviously going to get the titles.

dun actually watch roh so i dunno who you're talking about. but I stand by my statement: apart from bringing in fired wrestlers that stomp over everyone else, and even though some matches are still amateurish, tna is innovative and pushes their x division unlike the wasted cruiserweight division in wwe. matches like aj styles vs samoa joe easily make up for all the other shite. tna matches last a few minutes? You don't actually watch tna do you? I do, so I know what I'm talking about, prove me wrong (c) Benoit

Meanwhile...

The Palm Beach Post reports today that a woman who works at a tanning booth in Boca Raton, FL claims that Vince McMahon groped her. She says that McMahon came in for a tanning session late Sunday night (meaning it would have had to have been after the Royal Rumble PPV), showed her naked pictures of himself on his cellphone, made unwelcome advances towards her, then groped her. Linda McMahon is quoted in the article as calling the allegations "totally bizarre." Stephanie McMahon is also quoted in the article, saying that Vince was at the salon "the other night" but added that she wasn't aware of anything happening.

Yes, I do watch TNA. And a lot of the matches are short.

And "The Monster" Abyss is one of the lamest wrestlers on their roster. He's just a Kane ripoff.

:o ... rofl

And the Eddie insults are starting. Randy Orton was pissed about lsoing to Rey Misterio at the Royal Rumble, so after he beat him in a tag match, he rubbed it in by telling him that he has as much of a chance of beating him as "Eddie does of coming back to life." Scripted dialogue or not, that is beyond fucked up. I wonder what was on Orton's mind when he said that. I bet he must feel like shit. But then again, that's part of their job to make the people hate them as characters in the ring. But still....

I have a question for you wrestling fans, since I've recently developed an inexplicable curiosity and interest in it.

Which person, in your opinion, in the WWE, etc. has the most impressive acrobatic movements? I was thinking Rey Mysterio probably would be most of your answers because he seems popular here and because he is a Lucha-style wrestler. I remember back when I hated wrestling that when I was bored, I would occasionally watch the WWF and the Hardy Boys because they had cool jumping moves. But they were jobbers.
I even heard of a huge wrestler who was a super heavy weight but could do jumping splashes and moonsaults.
Of course I know there are a lot of movements that can be done. I like the moonsault, missle kicks, jumping dropkicks, things like that. I was really impressed with Mysterio's take on the Tiger Feint Kick since it looks so cool.
So who is considered the best in the field?

I think Rey Misterio did crazier things when he was in ECW.

Jeff Hardy (before he started slacking off), Rob Van Dam, Ron Killings, Sabu, Chris Sabin, Low-Ki, AJ Styles, Paul London, Jerry Lynn, American Dragon, Austin Aries, and Sonjay Dutt are fun to watch.

Heavyweights who fly through the air eh?

Kurt Angle (the Olympic Gold medalist) throws the occasional moonsault... Rather impressive if you ask me... Then Brock Lesnar (yeah, the one that left the industry... what a waste) also threw the ONE Shooting Star Press... Which got him landing on his face.

Further down the ranks... Val Venis's finishing move is the Money Shot... Which is basically a boring press off the top rope.

The WWE's soften a lot. People fly around a lot less these days for 'asset protection'. ECW was hard all the way, of course, and TNA is now the balance between the two. If you like flyers, definitely TNA's better.

No mention of Billy Kidman... Is he even around?

The only super heavyweight I know of who did moonsaults was Hugh Morris, I think. Unless I got the name wrong. The last time I saw him was in WCW. But aside from moonsaults he didn't do anything considerably agile, that I can remember.

Bam Bam Bigelow did moonsaults, too, but he looked weird doing it. He would kinf of swerve to the side in the air.

There is a guy called Vader who can do a move called a Vadersault, right? He's huge. I won't even try to comprehend how he does it.
