I haven't received an email from SS yet. I think my email's fucked.

And my parents are too tight to give me anything. :(
More like phpBB's e-mail system is screwed up. Gah...I'll just reset your password and e-mail it to you.

poor eczema :(

although coming to sydney would probaby set you back around 500. i say you should invest on an xbox360 or ps3.

on topic: leeds are coming 4th! XD we beat southampton to do that too.

I don't intend to get a next-gen console anytime soon. I just recently got a PSP, so that'll hold me over for a bit.

Latest Champions League scores!

Ajax Amsterdam 2 - 0 FC Thun
Bayern Munich 2 - 1 Juventus
Man Utd 0 - 0 Lille
Panathinaikos 0 - 0 Barcelona
Rapid Vienna 0 - 1 Club Brugge
Sparta Prague 0 - 2 Arsenal
Udinese 1 - 1 Werder Bremen
Villarreal 1 - 1 Benfica
AC Milan 0 - 0 PSV Eindhoven
Anderlecht 0 - 1 Liverpool
Chelsea 4 - 0 Real Betis
FC Porto 2 - 0 Inter Milan
Fenerbahce 3 - 3 Schalke 04
Lyon 2 - 1 Olympiakos
Rangers 0 - 0 Artmedia Petrzalka
Real Madrid 4 - 1 Rosenborg

Comments: Barca are inconsistent. Juve only lost due to a keeper blunder, still third favorite to win the CL, IMO. Real Madrid are good when they want to be. Chelsea look ominous. Liverpool steady. AC Milan deserved to win. Henry one man team. Man U are crap. I hope Juve's odds go down as a result of the match Vs Bayern. I honestly think they can win the CL, and am willing to bet significant sum on them.

Alright, I just plopped $300 on Australia to qualify for the WC at $2.40 to win $720. I think we can do it. Both of Uruguay's keepers are injured, and so is Forlan. All of Uruguay's stars (Recoba, Montero, Forlan, Zalayeta, Morales) are on yellow cards, so if they pick one up in the 1st leg, they'll miss the 2nd leg. It is our destiny that we go to Germany, just like our one and only WC appearance in Germany in '74.

DESTINY '06!!!

We can do it!!!! Did you hear about the debacle with the kickoff times for the first leg? Uruguay pushed it back to 9PM so we had to charter a flight back to Sydney, which we did, but now they dont have a flight, and will only arrive the day before the 2nd leg. roffles pwned. Now they are asking us to push forward the time to 5PM again. That's not cool that they play with the Uruguayan fans like that just a few days before the match.

yeah, esp since the uruguay fans are pretty extreme.

btw, nothing filled my heart with more joy than learning man utd beat chelsea on the weekend. who would have thought it to be so simple? attack from the wings. hahaha...

my friend and i came up with the observation that makelele was responsible for chelsea's rise and real madrid's fall. when he retires... chelsea wont be so unbeatable anymore. (i wonder why it took so long for soccernet to realise that?)

^ They say Wigan earns Mourinho's respect, not anxiety.

Arsenal *whispers* ftw!

The Uruguay/Australia first leg kickoff time has been changed to 6PM, so it'll be 7 AM Sunday AEST! OMFG, now it's personal, they make me wake up at 7 AM on a SUNDAY. Kick their ass Australia!

i get the feeling that australia would have gotten totally owned, if ernesto chevanton was playing. but well done anyway. 1-0 in uruguay is still a fantastic result.

next leg will be much easier.

Morales and maybe Recoba should have made it 3-0, so we were lucky. We got pwned in the last 20 mins, but were unlucky not to get an away goal in the first half. I reckon we'll go through after the 2nd leg finishes 1-0 to us, and we win on penalties.

PS. I bet $55 on the first leg to be a draw, so there's that gone. :(
