COMBO WHO-

Okay, well, Arsenal in the finals! Yayness to that. Don't think I'll get to watch the final since I still have school... what crap.

Looking at it on paper, we're the underdogs for this tie. But for two times this season, we've overcome odds and delivered, patched up defence or not.

And if it is true that all form charts and performance monitoring count for zilch on nights of finals...

We can do it.

Dude, you would be extremely lucky if your team played in a CL final once a decade. It was almost 30 years for my club, Liverpool, to reach the final. You can miss one day of school (especially if it's high school) to watch something that could possibly be historical (Arsenal's first CL trophy ever).

Mexico is ranked in the FIFA top 10. Somehow, that gives me some hope :0

But erh... look at his group for the preliminars. The only tough team there is Portugal.

I think the 2 teams from Mexico's group face the two teams from the Holland/Argentina/Ivory Coast/Serbia group, so yeah, you're stuffed.

We won 1-0, was it? What about the Ref? Are you upset about the penalty or something?

Villarreal got one that they didn't deserve, remember? Lehmann pulled off a Seaman.

Things like Gilberto Silva's 26 fouls and not getting a card. Not even a warning. And the fact that you can't finish a game just before a free shot, for christ's sake. Even my girlfriend knew that, and she doen't give a crap about soccer XD

But yeah, the ref was a dumbass for both teams on the second half. The second game wasn't that bad, anyways.

I didn't see any fuck up by the referees in the '98 WC final, unlike the Spain-S.Korea match in 2k2.

Actually, I didn't mean any referee thingie. The game was clearly set to let US win so they grant us Mexican a political favor. Yup, even in soccer, the crooked politicians roam around.
