So i mucked around with him for 30 mins trying to figure out how to do his iAqcb+B from DM/ SDM. I have kinda got it now and can do it. It also doesnt need to be on bigs either as I did them on iori and works.

Ill write more tomoro.

Forgot to talk about this...

Anyways, yeah its still kinda hard and timing is different depending on DM and how high. For example, it "feels" different to link iAqcb+B if you do qcfx2 DM on ground or as opponent is falling for the air. And there is a different timing to do if after SDM

As for actually doing it, I initially was doing b~qcb+B, but I have now been doing qcb~b+B and still works. Easier to do b+B then a whole qcb+B when you need it. Just have to get the buffer timing during the ending frames of DM / SDM so when you do the b+B it comes out.

One way to see if you are doing it right is to always do the follow up after the first qcb+B with qcb+BD. Assuming you do it right, you will get the air EX qcb+BD, if not, then you will do the normal follow up to qcb+B. If thats the case then its telling you that you arent in the air and timing is off.

Played a good number of matches with Perfect Stranger yesterday, and K's jump D isn't really great as air-to-ground anymore (unless you space it so that you hit them with the tip of it, maybe) - I much prefer jump C for jumping in now. Jump D is still alright air-to-air though.

Courtesy of rogueyoshi, a corner combo for K' that uses one stock and 50% drive which will remind you of arcade K's damage levels:


The tricky bit is of course the dp+A -> QCF+C drive cancel.

Yeah, not to mention that you have to be really low to the ground for the followup to hit, let alone getting that notation out.

heh I was going to post that it's the easiest part due to shortcuts: to do dp + p > qcf + p combos (in hyper drive mode) you just do dp + p, hold p

but that combo doesn't use HD :o

hey anyobody wanna help me with some k hd combos? i was trying out k (late, i know) and i couldnt get the qcf .A fwd .D to hit afterwards i did the dp during hd combos. i want to know what im doing wrong. after a normal juggle i juggle with DP .A and cancel that into qcf .A and ive even tried to cancel it into qcf .C but neither the fb or the upward kick juggle afterwards, they just dont hit.

Sorry Musolini, I can't help you with it because I can't even reach that part of normal combos (without HD)

What is the fashion to make the Drive Cancel of DP .A into qcf .P ?
I get only the DM, or nothing and few times I was able to perform it properly but it was just luck, not really idea on how did I made it lol

So... anyone can help me? It is not using HD, just the Drive Cancel wasting half HD bar :'(

It's been mentioned before in this thread, but the way you do that is input HCB,f+A for the DP, and then QCF+P. In HD mode you can just do dp+A, P instead.

As for the followup not hitting, I believe there's a height restriction for the juggle to work correctly. You need to hit them with the first hit of dp+A pretty close to the ground.
