Console changes:
- (shown in video) All versions of Genie stay on the screen longer.
- (shown in video) Sans-culotte (ABCD) has had its damage scaling adjusted. It scales more overall.
- Floreal (forward) (b+B) has faster startup and can be comboed from light attacks.
- B version of Nivose (d_u+K) has had its invincibility increased. The invincibility ends as soon as the hitbox appears.
- EX Genie now knocks away while retaining its juggling properties
- (shown in video) Germinal now takes no gauge
- (shown in video) Thermidor’s startup is faster
- (shown in video) The version of EX Genie done using both kicks tracks the opponent.

Yamamoto: Genie remains on the screen for a longer time. It may be interesting to use Genie as a wall of defense as Ventose can now be used while Genie is present. Although Sans Culotte scales more frequently, please try using Germinal as that no longer requires stocks itself.

It's with A or C.

D Nivose has great reach, similar to K's C uppercut in 00~02. Seems to do 3 hits. B Floreal is quicker than XII, and Pluviose seems to work like it did in '03 and XI, but does more hits than in any of those games (9 total, I think).

Does anyone know if Drive cancels work on whiffed moves or projectiles? If So, I can see some nasty stuff that can be done with genie this time. Unlikely to be worth it, but could be really fun.

Have the charge times been shorten? Because I do remember seeing a cB, cB, b+B into cdu+B as a BnB. I dont recall doing that in XII nor in XI.

Actually I have been really careful while observing every match with Ash on it, in order to "count" how long the charge time is. It seems to be more or less similar to Garou Mark of the wolves (like... a Little bit more of half a second, and slightly less than 1 second, though this is slightly different depending on the character). I think 2000 was the only KoF game with such low charge times (don't quote me on this).

Then again KoF was never a victim of that lame SF 2 seconds charge time, I still remember those Heidern in '95 *goro

either way, its definitely shorter now then before for ash. I can sorta think of some new combos already because of it....cant wait to try it.

High damage HD combo in Arcadia:

C, b+B (HD activate) dash B, b+B, charge d, u+B (1 hit) xx charge b, f+A , (charge b, f+C (1 hit) xx charge d, u + B, charge b,f+A) x4 (end of HD), QCFx2+K

678 damage.

- to cancel charge d,u+B into charge b,f+A, do it as follows: charge db, ub + B, charge ub, f+ A
- Apparently there's also a HD combo that starts from his b+D but it's not listed

I'm falling in love all over again (?) ^^ HD cancel + old KoF XI leader combo, slightly difficult to perform, but not that hard to do.

Haha I agree. Tho i wish he had his command throw into leader still.

Does it still have XI easy (hold 3 button then press the 4th) activation?

Another variation of his long "all resources" combo posted previously (probably the last one that I will bother with as well).
Now, considering the time that the combo requires ( + 40 secs) there is actually the danger of getting a time over before you can lash out enough damage *choi Then again the core of the damage if Ash goes first (and thus expends less time juggling you) is easily more than 50% damage.

Tomo has a marvelous performance with Ash in the last match.



I don't know who the player is, but has some pretty cool footage at the beginning, plus he uses several KoF XI tricks, har har.
