FAQ for the challenges, this will be updated as soon as i know how to beat the rest.

Normal

M01: do a throw escape 5 times
M02: do a ground recovery 5 times
M03: Guard Crush and defeat the opponent
M04: do a forward roll guard cancel 5 times (or what it's called, i'm not sure)
M05: do a guard cancel 5 times
M06: defeat a character who guard cancels your every attack (hit, roll cancel, hit)
M07: defeat a character who keeps rolling and rolling and rolling
M08: do a combo that ends with a DM
M09: do a 'normal > command normal > special' combo
M10: do a combo that incorporates MAX activation (normal > MAX > special or some such)

M11: do a 'mid jump (ie "dash, tap 9" jump) attack > ground normal > special' combo
M12: perform a combo with 4 MAX cancels in it
M13: land a +LP/SP counterhit 5 times in a row
M14: perform a 50% combo
M15: defeat the 4 Kyos of 2002UM
M16: defeat the Orochi quartet (thank god there's no Orochi in it )
M17: survive (using d,d+P)
M18: land an Overkill (air 1236982+ P) or DF,QCF,UF,U,D+P
M19: perform a combo with MAX activation and MAX2 DM in it
M20: defeat Krizalid

M21: do a 70% combo
M22: defeat 3 random opponents using Kensou (your health constantly decreases, but you can't die from this 'blood loss' )
M23: defeat the Zero duo
M24: do a 20+ hit combo (cannot use any kind of DM)
M25: defeat your opponent who has an invisible health bar + your final blow must be a DM
M26: defeat your opponent in 10 or less hits (hits, not attacks)
M27: survive for 30 seconds, while not being able to attack or block
M28: defeat an opponent while having your directional controls reversed
M29: you have 0 HP, and you must dodge or outrun Choi's MAX2 3 times
M30: defeat Igniz and Omega Rugal



Expert

M01: return 5 fireballs with vanessa's HP.
M02: survive Foxy's HSDM using seth's C+D
M03: defeat the mirror.
M04: perform a 26 combo with bao (THANKS TO: Eiji Kisaragi for the advice)
M05: connect 5 +LP in combo with kyo
M06: U N K N O W N
M07: connect 3 +k in one combo.
M08: U N K N O W N
M09: defeat krizalid and Igniz with the controllers inverted.
M10: defeat 6 opponents in 99 seconds
M11: U N K N O W N
M12: keep jhun 30 seconds in the air using his D+B (pretty tricky but not hard)
M13: U N K N O W N
M14: grab Heidern with Vice's Overkill in the air
M15: U N K N O W N
M16: defeat goenitz and geese (you can only damage them when time is a multiple of 3)
M17: wait for the overhead and then block (THANKS TO: Eiji Kisaragi for the advice)
M18: use Ryo's → + B or ↘ + B to counter the opponent's attacks. (THANKS TO: Eiji Kisaragi for the advice)
M19: defeat the 5 bosses
M20: defeat nightmare geese

Oops, I never bothered checking it myself, but that's incorrect. After reading it myself (at least the Chinese parts), it reads in one combo include: a command attack, a special, a DM, a SDM, and a HSDM.

I was wondering why after I completed it I never got 26 hits...

Are you sure expert challenge 01 is to reflect the fireballs? I keep failing the mission each time I do so, and I tried it with both the standalone and Puncher Weaving follow-up versions of the Parrying Puncher, as well as the Forbidden Eagle.

Well whichever expert challenge starts with Vanessa against Heidern (whom will dash back then do a fb) is the one you need to reflect ... don't know how you can be failing it though just dp C (or qcb A/C -> b C) it!!!

I gave up on the challenges after x attempts and haven't bothered since ... too bad I can't program the control pad to just pick a random challenge and fail 300 times haha ... I think the easiest way to fail 300 times would be to pick the "block overhead" challenge and just mash back ASAP so it will restart faster haha

Ah, my bad. I thought I failed the challenge, when actually it was just shifting stages.

Oh you will know if you failed ... the damn word is plastered across the whole screen to let you know how fail you are haha ... and the announcer says it too 2x FAIL
