I'm a little surprised at the inclusion of EX characters, especially Kensou, as his move set was only slightly different from when he had his powers. But I'm not complaining, since I do like 2k Robert and classic Takuma.

Krizalid
-His theme "Ground of Desire" is a remix of Dear Falling Angel.
-Much needed nerfs across the board.
-Damage lessened
-No intro, just stands there until the match begins (?).
-New MAX2
-Overall feels very balanced, like the '99 Evolution version.

Clone Zero
-Plays very...odd from what I hear. Has new crouch moves, but all air moves are the same.
-Damage nerfed except for the cape moves.
-MAX2 is Raging Demon (LOL)

Original Zero
-Plays the same. Has All 3 strikers.
-Rerecorded voice clips from Arai.
-MAX2 is also Raging Demon (LOL)

Igniz
-Plays the same, still has whip combos
-New MAX2. Is VERY awesome from what I heard.

Rugal
-New voice actor: Toshimitsu Arai. Yep, the original VA is back and has completely rerecorded his voiceclips.
-Damage nerfs, but otherwise remains the same

EX Takuma
-Based on 2000 version
-New MAX2: Gets a super-powered Haohshokoken that causes his gi top to fly off.

EX Kensou
-Based on 2000 version
-New MAX2: Buster Wolf ripoff

-Plays the same as in the original 2002, but more balanced
-Reppuken has new sprites and goes full range
-Deadly Rave is now an SDM
-New MAX2: Thunder Break. Finally, his old RB super is BACK! It shoots thunderbolts at random places, which scroll towards the opponent slightly.

EX Geese
-Based off of RBS (AKA Nightmare) Geese. Yep, this means "BANNED!!11!1"
-Can do 2 Shippukens in the air, and 4 Double Shippukens (expected due to it being RBS Accurate)
-New MAX2, as mentioned before. Apparently it's his Ashura Shippuken Final Impact from Dominated Mind. He loses the top part of his gi while doing it.

I wonder why they gave Clone Zero crouching attacks while Original Zero and Ignis remain the same. Guess they intended to make both Kriz and Clone Zero playable? Considering how their damage has gotten nerfed too.

The EX characters were expected; though I suppose Geese/EX Geese was probably the explanation why we had two shadows of him in that picture before.

I don't consider the 99 Evo version to be balanced with that infinite of his. And no intro of him shedding his trenchcoat? That sucks.

- Funny, I thought EX Geese would get the Thunder Break as his SDM Rising Storm. I hope it's actually useful now. As cool as it looked, it was admittedly pretty useless compared with the Rising Storm.
- Since this is a console game, I doubt anyone's gonna ban you from using the bosses or Nightmare Geese.

Looks like Dr. Neo Geo confirmed it already, about Rugal's VA (though it's already obvious). I guess, some fans and players did not like Wakamoto's version of Rugal.

Actually I didn't mind Norio 'Johnny' Wakamoto doing Rugal's voice at all, although understandably I still prefer Toshimitsu Arai. Is Igniz still voiced by Wakamoto?
