He's also huge. Redrawn sprites are really well animated. Take his c.D for example, looks like they added several more frames. His command attack df.C *looks* like it even hits behind him now due to the animation. Weird, I thought I saw his qcb+P move. I guess it's his roll.

I didn't play him but from what I saw and played against, jump D is helluva good.
His hcbx2+P DM has a pretty good range. Not to mention his hcb,f+P move has pretty good range, can link from weak attacks and does HUEG damage.

Quickie points.

He doesn't have his df+C, crouching C is his old df+C.
qcb+K roll is around.

f+C is his extra normal, his old far C.

His hcf+C has autoguard properties, I could have sworn I saw it beat Terry's Burn Knuckles (qcb+P).

Yeah, it doesn't have only autoguard. It has shitloads of autoguard! The only thing is that it's blockable like the old ones. I dunno about his hcf+A, I think it doesn't have autoguard.

It's almost impossible to CC the AI, it will always rape you w QCF+D every time. So yeah Goro = >98 Goro. Noes!! xD :o xmad

counterhits on jump-ins using sC, cC or sD can all be followed up with hcf+A. counterhit jCD air-to-air also works with the follow-up as well as any CD in the corner.

dp+A also combos from a sC

counterhit on a sC or cC, into a qcb+B/D anything combos afterwards (command throw, DM, etc.)

Good notes there fatacon, I'll be adding those to the main site!

Goro's one of the characters I hate to use, but damn he's easy. You can play him in the same scrubby way as you did in 98. QCB, Fwd P doesn't have any range but scrubby players never used it like that anyway.

It seems that his autoguard move (qcfA/C?) can't catch airborne opponents. In a match I did a jump move (which got autoguarded) then jumped again and his attack missed

hcf A will catch jumpers but I don't think it has autoguard, unlike hcf C

I love doing his DM at round start - super lol if they don't jump - incredible range!
