I admit, Tekken 6 is far from a great fighting game. It's horribly unbalanced, juggles do way too much damage, and the way Melbournians play, the game is basically reduced to a 50/50 guessing game where if you guess wrong, kiss 40-50% of your health goodbye. I only hope that the BR expansion can save T6. I stopped playing KOF because it's practically dead over here, and Tekken and now SF4 is where the fighting action is at.

I was in melbourne recently, and i hated the tekken scene. People bashing eachother and the quality of the cabs and sticks werent good at all. And you have to wait a long time to play.

Yeah, the arcade in Melbourne city is a ratty place (Chinatown, what do you expect ) with shit sticks. As for people bashing eachother, I doubt it. A lot of players rage and hit the machine but not eachother. And yeah, there can be a long wait to play sometimes. I usually go to my local arcade (Asian suburb FTW!) and the machines there are much nicer, the arcade is cleaner, and there's less people who play T6 there so less waiting.

Rufus, huh? Yeah he is pretty strong and is pretty much dubbed 'Fat Yun' without the Genei-Jin. Some of the combos the guy does are ridiculous.

I would say that Viper/Claw/Fuerte might work with your playstyle type (fast, speedy characters) but they're apparently not-so good. Some people have been doing good results with Fuerte and Viper though, if you saw the Gamechariot vids.

Does P like to play as Dictator (not necessairly in this, but in the other SFs)? He doesn't seem to be as strong as his CvS2 or CE version, but he's got good combos into his Scissor Kick and his Nightmare Booster Ultra can be comboed into a number of stuff.

As far as I'm concerned while ON definitely has a KoF/SNK theme it's more about fighting games (or was when we weren't just the stupid room and OT). Capcom fighters definitely have a place here (even if I did get flamed to hell for talking about Capcom when I first came here) so in no way are you a traitor. And anyway things have changed - we're more a social community now then a gaming one. So even SS's TF2 emphasis isn't a betrayal. It's just part of the current era.

That said, Tekken and everything about it sucks. I wish it would die and it's fans are traitors to good taste. Right punch, left punch... bahh. What is this, Mortal Kombat?

When i said "bash eachother" i meant verbally. I played at Russell st. I was just disgusted.

SF4 scene seems to be dying here (maybe cuz it's expensive here?). The only ppl who still give a good fight are only 3 ppl. The rest of the people pretty much lose to us or aren't good enough to be deemed scary. Sadly I'm the only one out of the 4 who doesn't have a high enough win count on the rankings (all three of them are top 1-3 with 20 wins each). I can't ever seem to get over around 11 wins. One of those ppl I lose horridly to (his skill level is just on another level), the other 2 is 50/50.

Pretty sure the game will be dead by new years, left with only scrubs and tourists. Guess everyone went back to Tekken 6 and KOF 98 .

Oh and I'm sticking to Chun Li, nothing is more satisfying than winning with her.

So I might not be a traitor afterall!

P.S. Sagat does too much fucking damage.
