b,f+P recovers slightly faster now.
qcfx2+P sucks more blood from what I saw.
And I think his hcb+K counter move is better now.

Not sure how it was in 98', but cross up hop C is really good.

Can repeatedly cross up an opponent left and right, ala Chris hop D.

YEAH BABY! LMAO Err, which DM BTW? He says 'GO TO HELL!' for both DMs. I'm guessing it's the boomy boomy one rather than the sucky sucky one?

far standing D is way faster, he hits directly, without the tourning move.

His guard cancel CD animation changed. It looks like his close st C now. So it's way more efficient.

And yes, his counter move is way better, it's faster, and counter mid attacks now (and high). It's also usefull to set up imblocable fireballs.

Now that his close C is cancelable on the first hit, you can combo into the Final Bringer in the open. You can also use a Storm Bringer.

I could be wrong, but I think Heidern regains more health from a fully-tapped Storm Bringer now.

I could have sworn I did s.C [1hit], storm bringer...now that just confirms it. Tapping while performing storm bringer always regained more health, even in '98.

No, what I mean is when tapped out, Heidern seems to get back more health in UM than regular '98.

jump c's crossup capabilities seem the same as 98. It also has a massive hitbox that goes from his arms to his knees.....


and yeah, far D is actually a semi-decent anti air on some occasions now.


didn't know about the first hit of stand c being cancellable. That's awesome, because he now has a decent stand c combo that doesn't need meter :P


btw, death bringer is his bloodsucking super right?


edit: oh yeah, forgot to mention that down A, down A, moon slasher is waaaay more consistent to pull off now, with or without a jump-in

Yeah, Final Bringer is the blood sucking one. It's nice that you can combo it in the open now.

I don't notice Heidern's crouching A being much easier to link, but Leona's is definitely faster.

He has his "bug" from KOF 94/95

If you do a moon slasher that doesn't hit, the storm bringer and final bringer DM/SDM do way more damage!

I never knew about that bug, so I'll give it a try and see what it's like. The REALLY scary bug was Heidern's 80% damage Moon Slasher on a Counter Hit against some moves back in '94/95.
