It seems that there is no discussion thread in FP ON but the rant thread, so eh.
So, there ARE NO unlockables in this game, eh?
Well, discuss.

According to Cold Man X at S-C.com, KOF'94 ReBout for Xbox (US-only release - the JP version was PS2-only) has been cancelled.

Well, if I had the power to choose between KOF94Rebout and NW for XB, I'd definitely choose the first one (specially because NW is a total piece of crap that doesn't deserve to be called "new game" ).
This is why I was pissed when SNKP decided to cancel it At least 94 Rebout has the nostalgia + good old school gameplay feeling. And KOF NW... has nothing.

That's not completely accurate. SF2 has gone several revisions. If we're going to take KOF '94 into consideration, we should then consider the first SF2:WW.denieru wrote:that's like someone not liking sf2, its just odd.
To its credit, WW did introduce some new things such as dizzies, normal-to-normal and normal-to-special comboing, mindgames, styles of play etc. But it's by far the worst and probably the least liked SF2. Only eight selectable characters from the get-go. No mirror matches. Slow and buggy (Guile, mainly).
In ways, being the first game, those are shortcomings it shares with '94 in my eyes. And thus it is easier to understand why the latter revisions for both KOF and SF are better and have a bigger following.

emmm... huh?
I agree 100% with all that you said.
I replied to complement KK's comment...
Not liking kof94 is like not liking SF2(yes sf2 ww) because of all the reasons you mention.
But being dated doesnt mean it becomes a bad game, sure nostalgia makes us like BAD games I admit, but 94 is anything but bad, its just old.
someone who doesnt like sf2 either didnt play it when it came out... or I dont know really what other reason could there be.
