What are good ways to beat Quest Survival?

Should I just use Armor Ralf, or some other character who's cheap?
Every what number of stages must I use the Life Healing thing so I can beat the 200th opponent?
How can I beat the 100th opponent? He pwnd my Armor Ralf days ago.

Any ideas?

Use Armor Ralf. Do this combo in every match for the first 100 or so:

HP,HP,HP, f+HP,HP, +HK,HK,HK (wall), +HK,HK

This builds meter fast, then just Galactica Phantom on stronger enemies. Buy health and/or time when you get low (avg about every 10 matches), raise the stock max whenever you can afford it. Then hope the AI doesn't sabaku too much. The rest is pretty easy.

How often are new colors awarded during survival mode? So far it's seemed very eratic. Does it take longer to get your first color if you've already unlocked some in another mode?
