SCIENTISTS have successfully bred the world's first fully fluorescent pigs.
The genetically engineered porkers have an eerie green glow all through their bodies.

"Even their hearts and internal organs are green," National Taiwan University project leader Professor Wu Shinn-Chih said.

In 2003, a Taiwan firm began selling the world's first genetically engineered glowing fish, sparking protests by environmentalists.

But Professor Wu's team claim the pigs will help monitor stem cell tissue changes.

Genetically engineered swine are used to study human diseases.

"There are partially fluorescent green pigs elsewhere, but ours are the only ones in the world that are green from inside out," Professor Wu said.

We're one step closer to having Green Eggs and Ham!

It would be freaky if their crap glows in the dark.

But it would be even awesomer if they farted glowing methane gas. We would no longer need fireworks, or the Aurora Borealis. :D

green pigs are strictly for scientific testing, not for eating

drugs
products
anything

green is better under the microscope

Now I know what happenned with my fluorecent marker. o.o

I wonder if those pigs are able to put eggs(If the glow in dark, maybe the had had some genetic modications X) Ok, I'll shut up)
