Is it wrong that the women I like are like this?

Not sure I'm following that article. So I'm to understand that those activities are reflective of Japanese women who have given up on trying to find romance and have started to engage in 'less than alluring' activities? If so I don't see how having a wallet full of dust or receipts relates - what to do Japanese guys like girls with spending money or something? And the draft beer thing is even stranger - they won't date a woman who starts a "drinking party" (?) with beer??

As for your liking that sort of woman I assume you like the lower maintenance type - I don't see anything wrong with that (although I don't know that I share such a sentiment exactly). Of course, maybe I missed the point here - if so, please elaborate.

I was just thinking of this girl I like, she's probably got half those #s there.

They really didn't elaborate dried up woman well, I just assumed it was some kind of "unkempt" girl or something.

From what I gather it's a woman who is somewhat of a tomboy..

Japan is still a good home for the traditional nuclear unit - it's interesting how the media can try to preserve this

eg 2: in TV audiences during the day, you will not find a man because they are AT WORK.

at the same time, with a decreasing birthrate and the unstoppable influence of sex in the city etc you get other things

You don't want that woman who gave up on grace and comfort. Trust me it's good for a man to have a woman guide him from his comfort zone every now and then (not too much though ). I would be sleeping on a matress in half a cave without certain types of women in my life. Men want for very little, it's for women that we improve our surroundings/ourselves/our money. Not that i am a slob on the contrary, just all my stuff is old and minimal and i don't really mind at all. Same goes for clothes, decent and practical. My girl actually tricked me into going to buy a closet, new bed and some new curtains two weeks ago. Social life too, i don't like people that much, more of a family/old friends man, it's usually the women who make plans to do things and especially with other/new people.

Bah, I guess this is why my dad has told me ages ago to, "never bother trying to look for an Asian husband, darling, you will probably end up killing him 'coz you do not fit into this 'traditional' role of wife". I bow down to his wisdom.
