Seeing nobody started one I suppose I'll do the honors.
Saw the first match, South Africa vs Mexico. I thought the goal by Mexico on the 37th minute was legit but it was ruled offside. Seemed like there's some other rules in play which I didn't know about.
Looking to watch the next match where we can see how bad France is now.

Italy has a horrible team this year, will be just bothersome to watch, yes even more than usual.

When the Italy defense is mainly made of Juventus players, you can expect a bunch of goals scored on them! My expectation on Italy's first match is to lose 0-3. I know, I've been following Juve. Disappointing season.Fuu wrote:Italy has a horrible team this year, will be just bothersome to watch, yes even more than usual.
And is Argentina actually better than we thought?
And Shiny, find time to watch some balls getting kicked. :D

Eng 1-1 USA after 68 minutes.
That USA goal was certainly, er, something.

US sports media has been hyping the US/England game like crazy - stating it's the match that the world is waiting for (although I can't imagine why...)
And yet outside of that nobody in the US really cares

The UK/US game is just hyped because a British company raped the the Gulf. This time, it's personal.

Boring WC so far. Wanna see holland and brazil play their matches, though brazils first match is against north korea so i doubt that'll be interesting.

Re: The World Cup Thread
The team that has impressed me the most so far has been South Korea.
Hoping for South Korea-Netherlands match at some point, that would be awesome, probably first to 4 wins.

Fuck the vuvuzelas, it's pissing me off, you have random drunk dudes walking on the streets blowing on it 2AM in the fucking morning, in a fucking residential area.
And fuck the flags, want to rip them off the cars and burn them in a neat little pile.

Don't be the first one from ON to murder anyone, reV. But after hearing those horns in unison, that would drive any sane man crazy.
