What's missing?

I hate making new versions of the site because I forget a whole load of crap.

I've just updated the staff list and web design history page

http://orochinagi.com/about" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - let me know if I've forgotten someone.

But I have this really awful feeling I've forgotten to re-upload lots of things that were on the old server. Can anyone remember or even provide any suggestions for content?

Still looking for Editors to post news/articles on the front page. Please sign up and don't let this site die! According to votes, the audience would like to see ON cover other fighting games. Nnggg not convinced but perhaps we have a unique perspective (ie. we're not looking to suckle genitalia in order to get favours) that could make good reading.

I can write an article or two if you feel I'm up to it.

Of course you're up to it! I wouldn't even mind more of Oro's audience alienating bitching!

As it seems the audience wants us to broaden our scope, you could even write about your Bayonetta experience - in opposition to the haters/hype.

Alright, I'll get to work on a draft for that and I will post it hopefully within the next 72 hours.

I'm in love with a BBW (Breakdancing Bullet Witch).

Picked up Bayonetta today as well (the ps3 version). Holy crap I'm loling at the over-the-top action and all the sexual stuff going on. If you thought Devil May Cry was wayyyy too showy, this one blows it off the charts. Also, I've been noticing all sorts of tiny DMC homages all over the game
like Team little angels- The guys that did the first DMC were called team little devils and that guy Antonio Redgrave (Tony Redgrave- Dante's real name while it was still in it's concept stage). I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one reference to Viewtiful Joe as well (I think one of the graves had "red hot" something on it- obvious VJ reference)
So far the only thing that's pissing me off is the godamn loading times, and since I've played about 30 minutes about 15 of those were cutscenes. Hopefully that'll change once I go deeper into it.

I emailed you a while ago, because I wanted to post something up, but you never got back to me. But sure, I don't mind helping you expand the site. I'd like to work on my writing a bit more in my spare time.

I never got back to you? Eh? That's weird. Well anyway, you have an account, so just post!

I emailed you because I couldn't log in to the site, and I didn't mean the forums.

I noticed you wrote you could post so that was that. I remember you saying "I can post fine" or smth like that, which obviously I misconstrued. Now that you specify it was the blog account, yes, I can see it's fecked. I fix now.

Anyone else who wants to contribute, register and buzz me for a contributor account upgrade.

I got the urge to write about Hong Kong for unsuspecting arcade gamer tourists (along with a few more incoherent ramblings about it in further articles/rants). Where the heck do I get mah credentials? Would I just write it in the forums and you can post it at the main site?

Another question, does the main site get mentioned much though? I mean whether we're getting traffic and all, if nobody comes we won't get much attention even though we got Shakespeare as our fanfiction writer. Just my $0.02.

According to my records, we actually got quite a bit of traffic while XII was hot, thanks to my spamming in certain areas. We do well in google too. Traffic has simmered but we're still getting hit. For the month of december we had 617,970 hits. People who visit certain fighting game sites always check on this one too. You better believe we have lurkers. KOF is a hard habit to kick!

Just register at the main blog site (right hand column under META), and I'll upgrade your account. Then post away.

Oh that's actually not too bad! Just that we have them lurking more than posting. Hmm.

And I just registered over at WordPress, the name's PenPen.

This is in reply to Pen's HK article on the main site. I cannot comment because I'm behind a work proxy :x

"Very nice post Pen! People that might go into Guangzhou (China) from HK for some KOF98 action might want to take note their layout is the same as HK in that the D is below the A.

I think the arcades in Guangzhou generally take tokens and I have seen dudes just playing on the machine wth a stack of tokens ... heck I did it with sf4 when I was there too hahaha.

The rule for "I'm next" though seems a bit different you would literally place your token into the machine giving the person no choice but to leave so strict!"

I'd wish there's like a sub-forum for our articles. So aside from the comments, people can talk about the article within the forums if they want to go more in depth. But if we're doing that we better start writing more stuff like Oro's Demon Souls article where people can discuss and yell at each other etc.
