M.J. is DEAD at 50

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.
A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.
Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.
We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.
La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.
Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.
Prolly Jacko faked his dead so he can hijack the price on all his beloging on an auction. RIP

Society tends to both sanctify and demonize people once they're dead - it'll be interesting to see how MJ is remembered a few years from now

My friends and I were just talking about him a week ago comparing his 80s and 90s hits. I was just telling some of the guys here how I got emotional listening and trying to sing Heal the World a few weeks ago ... I was still coming to terms with this news two hours after finding out about it. He had his shortcomings but that comes with fame, but I will always remember the positive things that he has done for us through his music and philanthropy.

@AW: I'll remember him for his music. So many artists are into dubious things that come into light sooner or later, but I've learned to separate the wo/man from the music. Except R.Kelly. He screws around with underaged girls, then gets caught. Then drops an 'inspirational/gospel' album.
@Fuu lala~: Yeah, I heard about that too. That must be the director's cut ending of Kill Bill. Just kidding. RIP Carradine.

The worst fucking news possible. Whatever he did, Michael Jackson should be best remembered for the massive impact he had as one man, made all the more evident with the extremely quick reactions to his death on radio, television, and the internet. It takes some kind of unreal talent to reach people around the world the way he did.

I'll remember him for Thriller, Billy Jean, We are the World, the Moonwalk and his humanitarian deeds. Few men did as much as he did.
I'll also remember him as a sad man deprived of his childhood.
As far as the pedophilia accusations goes, he is innocent to me. Only pursued by greedy little bitches who want scraps of his wealth. Fuck them, they deserves to have their graves pissed on.

I haven't seen anything like this since Princess Di died. His death, I have to say, has parallels to Elvis' death. This news overshadows, unrest in Iran, the deaths of Ed McMahon, and Farrah Fawcett. I really do expect Neverland to be the next Graceland.
