What are your favorite matches, and why?

Benoit/Hart Nitro '98

I liked this one a lot, and better than the Owen dedication match. The mat wrestling and overall performance from both men was superb, as well as the selling on both ends.


Rock/Hogan WMX8

The match itself, that is to say what happened with the wrestling was mediocre. But the crowd reaction was insane, and they played it off it extremely well.

I could name more, but it would go too far down the page...

Iron man match HBK Vs Bret Hart
Pure Gold.


Rock vs Foley
They had spectacular matches. Last man standing,
Empty arena street fight. Rock did some funny sh!t
Mick was well Mick

Hogan vs Andre the Giant
Classic.

Argh let the HHH bashing begin. Looks like he is lifting the title back off Dave in HIAC at Vengeance, big surprise. He wont stop hogging the title picture until he defeats Flair's incorrectly counted 16 title reigns.

What they SHOULD do is have the WWF (YES WWF!) Champ work both shows and throw out that World Heavywight Title.
That way we could have credibilty back into that strap.

For fucks sake Cena made the WWF title into a GODDAMN SPINNER BELT. Us title i can let it slide since it dont mean squat but the TOP BELT?? WTF?

That new title looks good except for the spinner, if someone glued it down in the center it would be a nice belt.

With Eddie now an evil baby punching heel, maybe we'll see him make Cena look as bad as he is in every respect in the title picture.

Lita has been branded a slut by the IWC for cheating on Matt hardy with Edge, they're bothg etting boo-ed BIG TIME whenever they come out, especially after Hardy was let go after it happened instead of Edge.

I watched that match yesterday, at least 4 stars if not 5. A lot of people say Benoit carried Angle through that match but I just dont see it.

Another fine match is Guerrero/Benoit Vengeance 2003 for the US strap. Just a small blown spot by Benoit, and a Rhino interference away from being perfect. Still not as great as Pegasus Kid vs Black Tiger in NJPW, but good.

Im not going to blow Benny's horn any more!

In this world of broadband, if you like clothesline/powerbomb finisher type wrestling, search for Kobashi Kenta matches, then you will learn who uses the world famous "burning hammer" which is in countless wrestling games. I also recommend Keiji Mutoh, if anything because he's the originator of the shining wizard. Masahiro Chono, Manabu Nakanishi , Yuji Nagata, Akiyama Jun...
