Cosplay Help(Planning Waaaay Ahead of Time)

I know it's only November, but I'm already getting my costume ready for AX2008. I want to cosplay as Maniac Striker Another Iori and I was wondering which hairstyle I should go for: Pompadour or emo-hair-over-one-eye?

I would say go for a mix of the two like in Maximum Impact, but I don't really know how physically possible that would be.

If you know how to work wigs, you can seriously defy gravity.
I suggest small amounts of pomade and hair spray. And please don't use regular scissors to cut the wig, at least when you're giving it its final cut. Instead, use a tool called "thinning shears." Trust me, it will make your wig look a LOT nicer.
As for the pants, go with stretch vinyl. Unless you have money to burn, then go with leather.

Also, does anyone have a big, clear picture of his oufit. I only have a small gif to work from.
