News reports are quoting authorities as saying the death of Chris Benoit,
his wife Nancy, and son Daniel, is being investigated as a homicide.

...so fucked up.

It's seriously disturbing with the rumor flying around.

I just hope it's false, otherwise that's just way too screwed up indeed.

What an awful way for an good wrestler like him to die. Always looked forward to see any of his matches on TV.

I was travelling from France and strangely I decided to pack my benoit toy figure and wear a wrestling tshirt on the train home.

I have to admit I thought his career had reached its peak with the acquisition of the world title, and he wasn't exactly great on the mic, but he is still my fav wrestler of all time. Love the stiffness, the germans, the crossface, and his greatest matches are still when he lost. He worked hard, he promoted solid values, and now... well let's see what the confirmation is. Did the snap suplex man finally snap? How will we know for sure?

wwe has pulled all references to benoit. Not a good sign.

articles say that he strangled his wife in the living room on saturday, smothered his son in his bedroom on sunday then hanged himself in the weight on monday, before texting odd msgs to chavo (on sunday) which led to a police check. the sherriff department seem pretty sure about the case, unless autopsies say otherwise.

i'd really like to see a link to watch the whole raw tribute on monday. i saw clips on youtube, but yeh, if u have a link as to where i cud watch the whole thing, plz link

oh and benoit was definately one of my favorites. a lot of things in this world dont make a lot of sense, but of the image he left with us prior to his death, we can be sure of was iconic.

i wonder what happened to his son between saturday and sunday. maybe after seeing his mother being murdered, his father had him secluded in a closed room, while pondering about killing him or not?
