Mugen Orochinagi style

I just played Mugen (again). Last time I touch it abt 4 yrs ago. Looks more advance & better handling this time. I was thinking why dont we make our own ON style. Say, we have characters from this forum. Example Gunsmith like Shermie, so we create a fighter name Gunny with special attributes that Gunny want on shermie, maybe a fart move. rofl

Tho I've been checkin around. It is not easy task. It is a team job. Or if you want, build your own char yourself.

Hows tat?

Just an idea. Its actually stupid idea. :|

I'm now quite invlved in the MUGEN thingie, and yeh, creating a character or stage is pretty complex and not as easy as customize a chara... takes a lot of time.

However, I'm down for it, anyways, I still have the idea to make an enhanced version of Vice.

In before "I should be that cheesy character" drama.

So where should I & everybody else start? I went to MugenBR but they dont have clear instructions, such as how to create a rip then entered into coding. If any A-Z manual, I might do it too. >_<;

Cheesy or not, it should be fun.

*laughin histerically & imagining Wolfie beat Sheba on 73th round, just by doing infinity kick on his ballz*

great idea and great for relieving tension ^^ but I doubt anyone has the time to edit 50+ frames per sprite...

or maybe it's not that hard?

how many frames really per character?

I used to mess around with mugen, like, 6 yrs ago!
It's not really difficult, the coding mostly involves altering variables etc. Time consuming though!
A kof char has around 500 frames! So yeah.
I might be in it, but i don't really have much time to dedicate. We might ask some authors to let us modify their characters specifying it's just for fun, so we can simply add a move - edit some frames etc.

I am out of it. I don't and can't think of any copyrighted character that should my name pasted on it.
Maybe the other posters are interested but not me.

I have MUGEN, too. I also would like to create my own original characters, but character designing is tough.

Don't look at me, I'm in the middle of school so I don't have time to be drawing and animating characters of any sort. D:

Having fiddled with WinMUGEN and MUGEN for Linux and having to put up with substandard character ports, terribly, laggy controls and (in the case of Linux) spotty sound support, and considering that a single character requires a ton of effort to program correctly, I must give this idea a resounding thumbs down.

That, and I agree with Sheba.

MUGEN takes too long and you get crap results with the retarded interface. Learn Fighter Maker 2k2!
