The Pope quoted some obscure religeous reference to Mahammod now all the muslims have gone kill crazy again.

In India there chanting "Death to Amercia" even though the Pope isn't Amercian.

I suppose everytime someone says something critical of Muslims or Islam thats a perfect excuse for them to start foaming at the mouth. Of course if a Muslim insults anyone else nobody gives a toss.

Whats the difference between a muslimislamafile and a standard non-believing person anyway?

Must be pretty extreme.

All of them going kill crazy...yeah right. Because, you know, all muslims = cold blooded terrorists. The media must have said it, so it must be true!

I suppose it's OK when the Jews revolt and speak against Mel Gibson's anti-semitic tyrade (even if he was drunk), and it's not right when the Muslims revolt or even get angry when they get insulted by the Pope.

Most of the Muslim world's reaction has been nothing violent up until this moment (at least from this morning). Religious figures such as Yusef Al-Qaradawy actually issued a sensible statement (not a death threat!) that shows that what the Pope says is not true at all.

And frankly, why is he saying such a statement to begin with? His excuse of saying that because of not condoning terrorism in the name of religion is obviously BS, seeing as to how he directly said that Muhammed brought the plague that is Islam which is ruled by the sword, and of course, none of it is actually true.

But yeah, stuff like this fuels the fire between east and west. Almost headache inducing.

The difference is that in some muslim nations it's the people in the streets who respond. Many people in the West are in the position to sit back and let their leaders speak for them. They can stand in rightious indignation in public debate, they advocate bombing the living daylights out of the entire middle east. Nice, cleanly packaged plans and reasons included by your local republican party.They don't scream "kill kill kill" they scream "preemptive strike" or "sanction sanction sanction" In the end they both scream for blood but at least the "crazies" are honest about it.

Gotta love the guys that want to invade Italy and France,

about the other video, it just confirms how easily religion can be used to manipulate the masses.
Historically when the most ugly shit happened, religions were there. I'm referring to every religion btw.

I'm an atheist too. I don't mind other people believing whatever the hell they want, but using that as a basis to ruin other people's lives/rape, pillage, kill/assert superiority and oppressing the weak etc sickens me.
