Fake Endless.

Here's the world cup draw.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/worldcup/wallchart?cc=3436

I'd say Italy's group is the group of death, but Argentina's and Brazil's groups are quite tricky too. Anybody in group F could realistically finish 2nd. A tough group for us, unfortunately. England, Mexico, and Spain's groups are ridiculously easy.

nah, i just really cbf posting these days.

i hear the chick who did the draws was really hot, but anyway...

poor manchester utd. i hope they manage to recover from this. anyone who thinks its funny for a top club to suffer what they've been through is fucking retarded. the epl will suffer tremendously if they continue falling. villareal topped the group - riquelme and forlan are having a laff. good show.

yay for france! i hope they dont lose to togo ala 2002.

To me, Argentina's group is the trickiest. Argentina and Netherlands are the favorites, but the other two aren't bad.

England's group is also a little tricky, if you ignore Trinidad & Tobago. I'd say Paraguay and Sweden have equal chances of classifying.

England's manager is Swedish, so hax maybe?

And even if we do finish 2nd, we'll play the winner of group E, which will be probably either Italy or Czech Republic, so yeah, pwned. Altho Hiddink did beat Italy with S. Korea.....

Here is the Champions League draw for the last 16.

Draw 1
Chelsea v Barcelona

Draw 2
Real v Arsenal

Draw 3
Werder Bremen v Juventus

Draw 4
Bayern Munchen v AC Milan

Draw 5
PSV Eindhoven v Lyon

Draw 6
Ajax v Inter

Draw 7
Benfica v Liverpool

Draw 8
Rangers v Villareal

OMG Chelsea Vs Barca again! God must hate one or both of those teams. :P I think Bayern can upset Milan, and I hope Arsenal beat Real.

Man... Hope Barca beat Chelsea this time round... but Chelsea should put up quite a fight. And hey, even if Chelsea wins, yeah, it shines nothing but good light upon the EPL. In case you're wondering, yeah, I'm a fan of the EPL. Not that I dislike Barca.

As shaky as one another, Arsenal Real comes at a weird time. Yep! Hope Arsenal wins! :P Think it's all gonna be tight though... might go right down to penalties.

Wow, the other matches sure look goo on paper all round. Think Juve and AC would survive, the others are all kinda hard to predict too. Liverpool all the way again amidst all the chaos?

It's possible.

Champions' League Quarter/Semi-Final draws

Quarter-finals draw
March 28/29 and May 4/5

Arsenal v Juventus

Lyon v AC Milan

Inter Milan or Ajax Amsterdam v Villarreal

Benfica v Barcelona

Semi-finals draw
May 18/19 and 25/26

Arsenal or Juventus v Inter Milan/Ajax Amsterdam or Villarreal

Lyon or AC Milan v Benfica or Barcelona

Lyon Vs AC Milan is certainly the tie of the round, although it will be interesting to see Vieira up against his old club. Juve will start strong favorites over Arsenal, but the same time last year they were favorites against Liverpool, and we all know what happened there.

CL Semi-Finals will be Arsenal Vs Villarreal and AC Milan Vs Barcelona.

Aggregate scores for the quarter-finals.

Benfica 0-2 Barcelona
Arsenal 2-0 Juventus
Internazionale 2-2 Villarreal (Villarreal win on away goals rule)
Lyon 1-3 Milan

So Juve go out to an unfancied English side battling for 4th place in the EPL for the second consecutive season, oh dear. Anyway, as long as AC Milan don't win, I'm happy.

I honestly can't stop pinching myself with Arsenal going through.

I'm just worried now that they are fancied instead of riding in as underdogs, will the old Arsenal situation crop up and we lose against some unfancied side.

It was Edu that won it for us the last time out.

Before that though, let's hope we beat Man U to go 4th place... *Hopes*

It's England Vs Spain in Europe!!!

UEFA Cup Final: Middlesbrough Vs Sevilla to be played in Eindhoven.
Champions League Final: Arsenal Vs Barcelona to be played in Paris.

I'd love to see an England double, but no matter who wins either trophy, it will be good for football as none of the teams are exactly European powerhouses. (Barca has only won one CL title).
