Just finished studying for monday's psy class topics. Because I have a busy week ahead, thought it would be worth doing something early.

Re: Orochinagi wants to know what you're up to!
Finished my Endorsed Enrolled Nurse program and just waiting for AHPRA (Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency) to process my registration. Already got a nursing position offered at the nursing home I currently work at. I will probably work there and get some clinical experience before applying to various hospitals around Melbourne. I want to work at the Alfred or St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
I also plan to apply for the Bachelor of Nursing program via distance learning program (if accepted, I will start as a 2nd year student) in either Charles Darwin University or Central Queensland University. I want to specialize in movement disorder nursing so I need to go get a degree (and then do graduate school programs if needed).
Or maybe specialize in Post-anesthesia care unit instead? I accompanied my patient to the operating theatre twice and it was an eye opening experience. i did look funny in scrubs although they were comfy-as!
I want to get a real good stethoscope too ;__; and 3M Littmann being the best one out there, they are so darn expensive.. ugu!!

Say, aren't you an engineer too? That's quite the accomplishment with double professions.

After some weeks of waiting, I finally fixed my networking issue with my 360S.
Updated all of my games, so I feel better.

The 3M Littmann Lighweight is very affordable and it has a very good sound quality. I use it in my ICU shifts and it's almost as good as my usual Master Cardiology Sthetoscope i use on the clinic.Kyo-wa wrote:I want to get a real good stethoscope too ;__; and 3M Littmann being the best one out there, they are so darn expensive.. ugu!!

I met one of the co-founders of Cisco Systems (Morgridge) when I was in Milwaukee. Didn't have a clue that I had shook his hand and held a 30 second conversation with him until later.

I've been devoting time to learning The Unforgiven by Metallica on the guitar. The solo, for the most part, isn't proving to be too difficult, it's just that one descending run near the end of the solo that's giving me trouble. The rest is fine.
I've also been feeling this urge to jump on the bandwagon and metal up some Lady Gaga songs, as I personally feel she was meant to sing metal anyway.

It turns out I'm intolerant to both gluten and lactose. So long Mediterranean diet.

Sorry to hear that Fuu, some systems can't break down everything we eat. Hope you find a diet that works out for you.
On another note, a few tests in Bio, and English Lit. Gotta go meet up with gaming club.
(going to mention some love for XIII) =D later

Fuu: I feel your pain. I have a spore-based allergy to mushrooms. And guess what the number 1 most popular food is in Korea?
...Well, yes, you're right, kimchi would be the big number one. But number 2?
MUSHROOMS
They put mushrooms in everything: lasagna, bread, chicken soup, salad, anything with meat in it, and I swear to Flying Kung Fu Jesus (but not his amazing giant robot) I saw some kids' variety of mushroom flavored toothpaste.
Yeah, I've spent plenty of nights worshiping the porcelain gods.
I keep telling myself, "6 more months, then you're going to Japan. 6 more months..."
Slightly more on topic: I'm having a hard time staying excited for KOF XIII right now. Make no mistake, it looks amazing, but usually when I wanna build up anticipation for a sequel in a beloved franchise I play the previous entry in said series. I only ever borrowed XII from a friend and I have no one to play 2k2um with. Maybe it's just harder to actually go out and play because I'm a responsible adult now, but that always sounded disingenuous to me, like the jack-off who would say, "Of course you beat me at your game. I'm too busy talking to girls and driving stick shift cars and other assertions of stereotypical manhood." Much like how a sexual deviant will always find a way around the obstacles in their path to orgasm, a dedicated gamer will find the time to play his games.
...Dammit, I think there was probably a better place to put the last half of this post. Oh well. I'm too lazy to go hunt for a thread that would probably be kinda dead anyway.
