EDIT :: Good tight game from both sides. Italy defense was great with some superb saves from Buffon the goalkeeper.

its a shame. games shouldn't be decided by penalties. im not saying italy didn't deserve to win, but it's just so harsh on france, who played better in the 2nd half and extra time. =(

I dunno for you all, but I still congratulate the french team who made it there even tho EVERYONE wrote them off as out of the World Cup by the medias even before the pool matches ended.

You can say whatever you want about Italy, but they had a superb defense and a godlike goalkeeper.

I'm still wondering what Materazzi said to Zidane to upset him like that. Anyways, Zidane's reaction was plain wrong and he deserved the red card.

There goes his Best Player of the tournament award.
