man fuck u niggers, obviously i got the two games mixed up.

Germany Vs Sweden - Germany, easily.

Argentina Vs Mexico - Argentina should go through, but they won't have it their own way. Extra time is likely.

yea, just like I predicted Mexico would score in the 1st 5 minutes...

Ecuador England... 0-0 at half time... England sure knows how to pull tantrums... btw, the ref is obviously on england side... expect a red card for Ecuador... sonavabitch.

Wow, Portugal vs. Netherlands was a vicious match. More than once during the game, I thought a fight would break out among the players.

No wonder there were so many yellow and red cards.

how can a game so out of control be so entertaining?

why is it so heartbreakin to see Holland lose (as well as ecuador)? I didnt feel a thing when Mexico lost btw.

Game level was fine, but all those cards (16 yellow card and 4 red cards) = shit.

Hehe, I've predicted 4/4 winners so far.

Man I really, really hate England. That match against Ecuador was so bloody boring. In fact, all England matches have been. Almost immediately after Beckham scored, Sven brings on Carragher. Like against Paraguay, they seem content with a one goal lead. I hope Portugal roll them, but with all the yellow cards, they might have key players suspended. =( It really would be a travesty to see boring England in the semis over Portugal and Holland, or even Mexico.

Italy won on a question call and penalty afterwards. Buffon was fabulous today, but gotta give it to the Australians who kept coming.

Matarazzi is a red card magnet.

heartbreaking... a great game where Italy got one red card (deserved, dont start with that).. and Australial gave it their all..

they pushed and pushed... the Italian, with one man less suffered all the 2nd time and were clearly tired, something that Australia could obviously capitalize on the extra time...

"We can actually win this!!" Im sure they all dreamed...

and suddenly, in the 48th minute of the 2nd half... a penalty which clearly was given to Italy is declared... and toti scores.

All your dream are crushed in a flash.

how sad... I would've cried if Mexico got kicked out of the WC like that.

Italy, despite having the weakest bracket, needed the refs help to advance.

Pathetic.

If it goes on that way, I predict an uneventful, boring and predicable outcome. Brazil makes it to the final and win again.

And all non-brazilian jumping the brazil bandwagon gonna annoy the hell out of people.

Football was the loser today. In all fairness, I think Italy played better in the first half, they had some great chances, better than what we could create even against 10 men. But to lose like that was shocking. Especially considering not long before then an Italy defender handballed in the box. The penalty was questionable, as was Materazzi's red card. I really hope Switzerland or Ukraine knock out Italy. I will cry if the final 4 is Germany, England, Brazil and Italy. Out of the remaining teams, Argentina really deserves to win it the most. Spain too, but they have the hardest draw of all.

At least after watching Australia's performances here, we should dominate the Asian confederation, and secure WC berths more often.
