Capcom Friendly Club CFC Style: Volume 3 (VHS)

Volume 3 (December 1996) of the Capcom Friendly Club CFC Style VHS tapes, released to Japanese Capcom Fan Club members in the late 90s and early 2000s. These tapes contained previews of upcoming games, footage of media appearances and interviews with Capcom staff.

Watching that Konami tip video really brings back some lousy memories of the 8 bit era. I can recall too many games from that period featuring 'battle of attrition' style gameplay - i.e. you just stand there and take your lumps and try to dish out more punishment then you take. The video shows it during the small portion of Bayou Billy I watched and through the Castlevania walkthrough (it was the players primary fighting style). I was starting to think that dodging and blocking in todays action games were starting to get repetitive but watching this video makes me appreciate them even more.

And when will people learn that you use the triple shot Holy Water against the Grim Reaper in CV1 and not the boomerang?? Sigh...
