Well the disappointment comes from far. I personally didn't care one bit because I thought this team has been horrible for about half a year or more now with ridiculous technical choices, so i never felt empathy with it(but I guess a true supporter doesn't work like this).

Basically Lippi called over his old little soldiers he was comfortable with, despite half of them coming from a bad season/in bad condition, never called players that he didn't like personally(we're talking about things like, I don't really like your tattoo etc) albeit scored 20ish goals last Serie A and were definitely kind of players that were missing from the roster.

Basically it went down the typical Italian way: Old arrogant and overconfident guy thinks he understands way more than anyone else, sticks with his tiny little conservative ways while anticipating when everyone will bow down after his overwhelming victory, but instead...

Nothing against Ghana really despite them knocking the Americans out again- I think in 2014 they'll be a real contender, so I want them to do well so they can be seeded in 2014.

I think Spain are finally hitting stride now. Dont need to win by 4 goals to look good. Held germany well and they didnt threaten too much. This will be a good WC final, tho I do hope Spain will only because I want Torres to prevail. As much as I like Sneider, and Robben I cant stand how Robben is more on the ground the standing up. He needs to stop milking fouls for what its worth....No one else in the team does it.
