Portugal beat Iran 2-0 to book their second round berth.

Czech Rep. vs Ghana is ongoing now...score is Czech Rep 0 - 1 Ghana with 5 minutes to half-time.

EDIT: Czechs are down to 10 men with 25 minutes to go.

you forgot to mention ghana failed to score the penalty kick... im still heartbroken about the czechs... Ghana is on top of them now... a 2nd goal will occur...

LOL, the Italy - US match has proved to be pretty exciting so far.

- Italy scores in the 22nd minute
- 5 minutes later, an own goal by Zaccardo (sp?) puts the US on the scoreboard
- Just 20 seconds later, De Rossi elbows McBride in the face and gets sent off. Italy is down to ten men

then the 2nd time starts... and Pope GETS ANOTHER RED CARD!!!
