If England play Germany, I'm pretty sure Germany will win, seeing the fact that they are at home and all. England honestly play very poorly. Crouch's volley to the sidelines should be made one of the tournament's best gaffes so far.

Why can't France own like Arsenal can?! Poor Henry was underperforming. Ribery was a waste of possession IMO, then again, the whole French team was... C'mon you Frenchies! Pires would've done better than Ribery, he's got rapport with Henry and he falls plenty easy to win freek icks convincingly. Heh.

Cote D'Ivoire vs Holland just ended. GREAT game. A little sad that the Toures and Eboue will be packing their bags, but van Persie did well. Was stopped illegally or else a second for him would have been on the cards.

That's the bandwagon effect, remember 2002 when Korea and USA made it pretty further than they usually do? People of their respective countries suddenly get an interest in football. Can't really blame them tho.
