So after watching 93 episodes of Hokuto no Ken, I think that if Sega ever commissions a sequel to the fighting game, it needs to add one or more of the following:
Juuza
Ryuuga
Shuu
Maybe Shuren, just so they can get Norio Wakamoto in there lol

Also watched a couple of episodes of K-on....I like it.

And since no-one seems to have posted this here yet:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... isode-airs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Episodes from season 2 will be intermixed with the current re-airing of season 1 (which, unlike the original broadcast, is being aired in chronological order). The first episode is already available from the 'usual sources.'

Going to check out "Time of Eve" for some good old "do androids dream of electric sheep" type business. I don't think it's got any guns or swords in it, sorry!

Rideback is ok.

There doesn't seem to be any quality adult anime around. Just the usual hack slash or cute girls meh.

baccano, paranoid agent, kemonozume - if you've seen anything more like these, let me know please!

On the other hand I think I'll watch Hokuto no Ken in the mornings to prepare me for my teaching job!

I guess that means the series may never have a conclusion now. May she rest in peace.

Been watching a few of those Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond shorts - some of the most bizarre and awesome I have seen yet, especially Gala in GPB. If you love anime with a lot of artistic style and flair, give 'em a watch.

Aw fuck. Though you have to wonder if she was even shooting for a conclusion at all.

Recently I've been watching Gintama, Skip Beat, and Hajime no Ippo. Finished Skip Beat and it was pretty funny, though it kind of lost steam right at the end. I'm hoping there will be another season since the ending was completely inconclusive.

i got really burned by the latest HNK movie. Kenshiro obviously is wounded for 3/4 of it so the others have a chance to survive 1 minute against him, and then you have little girl falling in love, raoh toki rei etc on bgs watching Kenshiro, gets wounded then tastes his blood, meets Shin's master and it turns out there's another Nanto dude that gets killed in 2 minutes anyway, ugly retarted villains done to death, i mean wtf who likes this stuff, this is just low level fanfic.

Hokuto no Ken Zero I think?

Anyway I finished watching the first '80s series. I liked it on the whole, although the animation reuse was almost comical at points, lol.
I started on Hokuto no Ken 2 but I don't know if I should keep watching. The first series seems like it tied up everything pretty nicely...

I guess I'll watch Raoh Gaiden and Toki Gaiden at some point.

yes it was zero i think.
HNK 2 is pretty pointless honestly, even Buronson says it's shite.
The gaidens are pretty nice since they're remakes - there's really nothing left to add to HNK.

The Gaiden movies were great, especially both Raoh movies. The Raoh TV series however was a little bit disappointing from the episodes that I saw.

AFAIK Shin HnK has nothing to do with any of the new Gaiden OVAs.

Anyone watched Michiko to Hatchin?

Pretty good stuff. I guess the pacing can be a little off at times, but i dunno it feels somewhat... deliberate. I think it goes well with the settings. Relatively mature stuff(as in mature characters but not much of a big theme), Gun could take a look. Can't decide if i like more Michiko or Atsuko.
