Depending on where you're posting, it might be mandatory (seeing as how he gets overrated in the IWC quite often)

Kobashi/Misawa on queue :-P

If there was a Kurt Angle v Undertaker match, I'd be happy to see Kurt Angle (and his medal) rest in peace.

Also, MNM sucks.

And.... why is everyone clapping for Heidenreich/ his poems? Is he becoming a face?

Ohh good call! They are rather entertaining.

But let's not forget old ECW footage, RVD vs Jerry Lynn, Tajiri vs Supercrazy all that jazz

I'm gradually becoming less of a mark for Benny, Nagata Lock II is a better version of the crossface i have to say (Yuji turns their face to the side before pulling back)

Quoted for further emphasis.

For some reason though, I tend to favor/remember a lot of the cage/ladder based matches. There were a lot, some were duds and some were rather brutal.

*looks at the old school title ladder matches b4 the ECW, WCW and WWF become one*

London is very entertaining, too bad you can hear a pin drop in the crowd most of the time he's in the ring. :?

Angle is rumored to be heading to Raw after the draft, maybe a Michaels rematch will take place, if he doesnt get moved to Smackdown.

I watched a Kobashi/Misawa match from 1995 today.

Superbly executed power moves by both men (snap suplexes, germans, power bombs, sidewalk slams), Misawa is definetely the more agile of the two as he was practically running rings around Kobashi 1/3 of the match. I do feel the striking and selling is a little weak though for both - and there isnt a lot of charisma or electricity between them. But thats to be expected with the different wrestling style I suppose. And after having to put up with horrible WWE matches with the likes of JBL and Batista, its somewhat refreshing overall.

SREEEPA SUUPRECKS!!

**** match

Agility? Kobashi certainly slows down later on, doing less of top rope legdrops and moonsaults but Misawa still does the odd frogsplash now and then! Yah, nimble old guy!

Looking at these two in particular maul each other, they call it STRONG style, don't imagine for one moment that other jp wrestlers allow themselves to be slammed onto the back of their neck like that, those two can take (and dish out) serious damage... and if you like watching Kobashi scream to teh crowd before levelling opponents with fat clotheslines from hell, keep on watching. I can't say many of the other NOAH wrestlers impress me that much, NJPW has probably a more entertaining roster.

NOAH love to sell the Misawa elbow- it's like a tyson right hand or something. Then, Kobashi's rapid chest chops x100 became a crowd favourite and it's the funniest thing ever to see the expression on both wrestler's faces as the sweat flies off the victim's chest. But the final roundhouse chop does look nasty. I think you've got them at the start of their feud... 1995 eh, try another few years down the line. I can supply some vids, get on IRC!

Rock - Austin WMX-7!! Biggest heel turn ever...

Angle - HBK WWXXI, no doubt on that one too.

I think it was 95, I had seen it somewhere listed on the file description... Kenta took the GHC belt belt off Misawa, and got a HUGE trophy. Crowd was bat $hit for him. I may take you up on the matches if emule doth not provide.

Hogan matches in Japan are pretty entertaining actually, especially when he's a heel. Look for Hogan Muta, Hogan Inoki, Hogan Chono...

nWo and the fake sting in Japan was pretty funny

Goodness... I have absolutely no idea about some of the people you are all discussing about.

Guess I am too WWE based. My blank period isn't doing me favours either. Everyone here watches everything?

Just me and Gunny I think (so far!)

I do appreciate WWE's spot based style a lot. Eddie and Kurt have mastered it completely, their match on Smackdown the other month was really good.
