Why the hell is the guy downstairs from me singing terrible off-tune karaoke of mariachi and tejano music for hours EVERY FUCKING DAY?! During the day I have to listen to this crap every time I sit at my computer. It's driving me crazy. But I can't complain because it's the middle of the day so he's not doing anything "wrong", and if I try to drown it out with headphones or something I can still feel the damn vibrations through the floor. This place was so nice before this guy moved in, goddamn it.

I know just how you feel. An overweight couple recently moved into the upper apartment of my duplex. They're very nice people but the floor/ceiling is UNBELIEVABLY creaky and their constant wandering produces an endless stream of creaks and crashes (and bloody shakes my apartment). I wear earplugs and crank a fan to max when I go to sleep and they still end up waking me. IT'S DRIVING ME MAD but like you said, they're not doing anything wrong so I can't and won't say anything.Gojira wrote:Why the hell is the guy downstairs from me singing terrible off-tune karaoke of mariachi and tejano music for hours EVERY FUCKING DAY?! Sigh... renting blows.

Check the King of Fighters 1998 section of GameFAQs. The venerable Kao Megura made an excellent FAQ that is a good primer for move notations and such. Don't try to e-mail him though, he passed away recently.Tiamat wrote:I just registered here. yay
Is there a newbie topic where all the notations and things are explained for moves and combos and such?

i've used about 1/3 of my pills and i don't feel any different
also the psycho people called me the other day and told me i'd get to enter the intensive treatment period in week and a half
now the thing is the bastards want my parents with me on the first day and now i fucking have to tell them the full extent of my mental issues instead of the down-played "motivation problems" version i've handed around before
crawling in my skin like nevar before

emoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
tell your parents?
o shi
this is so crap, YES I KNOW I@M NOT QUALIFIED but for you to voice your opinion in such a coherant manner suggests that while you might have problems you don't seem to need medication and all this fuss. I'd guess you just need to talk it out! Now that your parents are going to get briefed on the full extent maybe this will lead to arguments but also catharsis in that you will no longer be hiding stuff from them. out in the open = less anxiety. if only you could, confront all the people that are causing you grief.... much embarassment but issues resolved, thus less drugs. if they refuse to talk, threaten them with therapy!
ok my turn!
i just got mugged. i tried to refuse but one dude got very trigger happy and punched me a few times. half drunk i didn't really feel it but realised it was time to give up. they ran off with an empty wallet and a bag containing chewing gum, notepad and a script. hmmm stupid is as stupid does. I even told them as they ran off.... I guess the adrenalin was pumping to their brain, taking over logic... oh well. life goes on!
