I dont recall seeing any threads on this so i think ill be the first one to make mention on it (or at the very least repeat something someone else already said). Well as you all know this game is close to 70% done(or more realistically thanks to some alterations in the story since this game was developed...45 to 60%)..as such i think its important to create buzz on this tiittle in some vein attempt to get it some exposure and possibly encourage SNK to do something with it..such as a posisble release lol. SNK has been on a roll as of late with creating great games(XI, neowave, NGBC) so naturally i think the one thing to finally get them the respect they deserve is to have such as this released. It would mainstream them in the way they havnt been before for a long time...i mean they would actually be included into evo witht his and what not. All they would really need to do is work on some of the hit detection, hi res everything, finish the roster and change the menus and releasse it on live. How would u feel if this game was released.

I would love to see a second Garou, with adjusted balances and new characters. Besides, it was left so open-ended with Rock's ending. I don't really care that much, but I like to find out what happens later.

well most of my friends who play fighting games (mostly SF3rd fans) all say that tey believe garou could've been as good as, if not better than SF3 if it only had more characters.
So yeah, I totally agree with them on that. They could keep the style, the framerate, # of moves, etc, that's all great, just add more characters!!
I wouldn't mind having some of the classic ones back, i mean come on, Joe mooning in hi res AND hi framerate???

Add Joe yes, not the mooning it may spark issues with Uncle Sam. You know, the Mai Boobies thing.

In all fairness there's really no way to proof if that mai thing is the tip of a fan or what all the fanboys want it to be. Did anyone ever try to contact the authority on this issue?

Either way some of the characters would just look fucking awesome in garou's graphics, Rick Strawd for example.

If they do decide to continue with MOTW 2, I hope they don't just port their existing code, but rebuild it so as to live up to the standards of the series. MOTW was a hallmark of what could be done on 16-bit hardware - a sequel that looked pretty much the same would be a major disappointment.

I never actually liked MOTWolves to much I found it insulting in comparision to the greatness of realbout/special/rb2.

I dont know if anybody actually has the screenshot of motwolves "2" that was put up in neo-geo.com forums (or even if its real) but couldnt someone post it here?

An MOTW 2 currently would be abit, blurry. Seeing that Maximum Impact is the new continuity of Fatal Fury.

Release date?

No release date.

This is referring to the supposedly 70% complete MOTW II the old SNK had before it went bankrupt (according to Falcoon). It's unknown if they'll decide to revive the project.
