i currently have the older 60gb version PS3 which can also play PS2 titles. i have found some rare PS2 games online for import.

question is will american and japanese PS2 games work on my PS3 model?

if anyone can help it would be of great assistance.

PS2 games are still region-locked on PS3, so an American PS3 with backwards compatibility will only play American PS2 games and so on.
