uhh,it's the mentality.Since we thought Arrange mode nerf KGO badly but leave Ex Kyo hardly nerf plus he has all those stuff from NGBC,naturally we thought he is the only one left(excluding bosses) to dominate the game thus the 2k3 duolon which dominate 2k3

Gai has way too many mixups, a dodge that can also lead to many options (especially the Gai Spider grab... we've all felt that). It doesn't surprise me he's A tier, seriously.

Now, why Magaki is C tier... Magaki might kick our asses, but he, in Arcade AND Arrange, has been 12341234123% nerfed.

- Projectile damage was reduced about 50%
- Normals do... normal damage
- Walking speed is awful, seriously lmao (not really a problem, since his dash is much faster)
- Not QS friendly (no moves QS)
- No DMs that hit (only the vanish)
- LDM damage has been reduced to SERIOUSLY LESS than a REGULAR DM, although it retains its properties
- Stun damage was reduced (pink explosions don't have much stun)
- His command move doesn't combo from normals
- No DC.
- Can only have 2 pink fireballs on screen at once, unlike the CPU version.
- In Arrange, blue fireballs disappear when Magaki is hit.

Yes, it's THAT tragic.

Oh, and about why EX Kyo is good (because I just can't believe people haven't noticed he's almost Godlike):

- Broken Air RED Kick that has instant startup, hits all the way down (unlike Shingo Kick or K's Minute Spike, etc.) and can be done while hopping
- Anywhere juggle move dp+A, even in Arrange where they were all removed
- New Dokugami chain juggles the opponent, and hcb+C in the chain is barely affected by damage scaling.
- MAX Mode LDM has Kim-like property when DC'd.
- f+B hits twice (less often in Arrange) if cancelled into after another normal, even if this normal was WHIFFED

I can't think of many more, but I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about why Kyo is overpowered in NGBC...

tis true. Magaki is very slow, he cant put multiple fireballs on the screen. No real combos, lack of variety in normals. If he gets locked down there's not much he can do. And keep in mind, sometimes SNK will power up the cpu boss but then when u play as them they suck. For example, on the last roudn against Kain in Garou, he's in top mode the whoel damn time
