Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that XI Kyo's Air RED Kick is better than EX Kyo's Air RED Kick. I know we can't really compare without having them side by side in the finished product but it's an opinion.

Can XI Kyo's Air RED Kick be blocked low?

XI Kyo doesn't have an air RED kick...

If he did, he'd be S tier...

the new KOF XI commercial shows some snippets of EX Kyo in action. All you can see is pretty much him landing a stand c, fwd b, qcf c chain, but missing the last qcf B. mu shiki dream cancel also looks quite the beast (and it seems that it doesnt scale that much when DCed)

Yes, the redone version of the redone version of Esaka (from what I can tell, it sounds like a remixed Esaka Acid Mix, wtf) is pretty nice, though I was hoping for a better version of New Order since the AST version sucked so badly.

BUT, this is a gameplay thread... so...

LDM Mu Shiki = splooge.

Imagine since that LDM mushiki is a 5 hitter plus %50 damage,how much would a full 16 hit mushiki damage that is able to dish out :kill:

IF that ver ever exists, i want to see it, lol. I still do wonder at the comboability of EX Kyo tho. Coz if he can do corner juggles like XI Kyo can in addition to the already high damage of the LDM DC...

100%?...The basic combo we saw was the most basic of combos and it did close to 80% as is...

It seems he still have his max mode aura lol which i think he is already a A tier.So anybody can tell me more info about him? Got air RED kick?Nerfed? New chains become a DM?

I never played much NGBC, but EX Kyo seems pretty intact from that. Air RED Kick looks *really* broken: fast, low lag, great hit stun, etc. His new qcf C chain (the one that ends with him holding up his fist and making the opponent explode) is now a DM, and you can add on a c uppercut as the opponent is falling down, but not 3 a uppercuts. Mushiki seems pretty fast, packs a punch.

Surprisingly though, you can't select both EX Kyo and normal Kyo on the same team. ;p

That would wipe out the competition if both are able to be on the same team.We talking about insane damaging combos those two are able pull off if they're on team.

I take back of what i said about him being A tier,
He is a S tier
-Broken Air Red Kick
-Chain combo is a DM (Ouch)
-Mushiki abit less damaging than the kamikura
-Gold Aura makes up the the damage scaling effects of the Mushiki.
-Has everything what XI Kyo have excluding Projectile.
-More combos ever.

Is there really not one nerfing done to him besides poking?

Little combo i found on the corner:

jump D, C, qcf+DD, hcb+B, hcb+D, dp+A ...

As dp+A does not cancel into DM, I tried to place a dp+C instead of A version, didn't seem to combo. Anyone ever tried it?

Also i noticed that cB,C does not combo anymore.

dp+C does not juggle, only dp+A.

Here's a corner combo eqiivalent to normal Kyo's corner juggle.

jD C, qcf+D,D. hcb+B, qcf+A, hcb+D (1hit) SC qcf 2x+A, DC LDM.

Damage is the same as normal Kyo's corner juggle, but this looks a bit cooler ;)
