Don't know about you guys...

While Iori was kicking butt from 2000 to 2002, Kyo was rendered almost useless with his Orochinagi aking the time to cook an egg to be released.

When he came back in 2003 by the way, he was SO strong, with a SUPER abusable Oniyaki...

Fortifying HIM?

(Then what about Iori!? :D)

I dunno about you, but Iori has been overused since god knows when till 2003.
Kyo wasn't *that* strong in 2k3. About mid-upper tier. But not Duo Lon tier. Iori in the other hand, hasn't dropped his status one bit since his stuff are basically intact.

I felt that Iori was a bit weak in 2000. Average at best.

I think that kyo was very strong in 2000 using the qcf+k,k hcb+B combo and the large invincibility in hcb+D(which after 2000 became very useless imo).also his strong basics like cC and jCD made him a real threat.iori was average in 2000 and strong in 2001(c fB!,qcb+Cx2 cancel, the hi damage in qcfx4 AC follow-up)but none of these were as strong as the 98,97 iori and kyo.

things starting to get boring, any news or beta-test dates.

Are you sure Kyo has his Yamibarai projectile back? Where did you read this information? Cause im a die hard Kyo player, and if he does gain his projectile back this year that news is just too good to be true.

Maybe this means Kusanagi won't be in the game, eh? (with Kyo having his projectile attack back)
Here are his chances of being in KOF:XI IMO
51% nope

Keep in mind - this is still a very early beta. The first beta of KOF2002 had Terry with his Power Charge move but it was removed before the final release. The same might apply if the developers think that Kyo can do without his projectile.

Or, it could just be the Kyo/Kusanagi confusion from KOF2003 all over again.

You don't think he absorbed Kusanagi's spirit into himself?...
It would make a bit of sense if his powers were strengthened.

He may have eaten Kusanagi's baby, I don't give two crap about how he got his fireball back.

Yeah true that it is still an early beta, but hopefully it'll make it to the final version. Heh, yeah hopefully it isnt the whole kusanagi confusion again. Gotta say though, Kyo is lookin good this year. Yamibarai for distancing, aragami/dokugami chains for combos. Hopefully Aragami is safer or at least as safe as it was in 2003 when used from distance. That and the fact fact that his dokugami damage is as high as it was in 2003, and now that he has his grab back, gotta say its lookin good. Maybe he really is 'pissed off' as he said in his 2003 ending 8) Though im sure he'll get toned down in the final version.

I am only interested in one person and one person only. Iori.

Wonder if his LDM will be changed...

Iori is overused eh? That's cuz he's God other than 2002 Rugal! Hohoho~! :D

Hate grappling moves... Kyo CANNOT grapple! There goes his LDM...

according to the-magicbox.com KOF XI will be released in japanese arcades in november 2005.I still question their reliability but the date seems reasonable,i don't think snk will skip another year and there is a lot of time for loke testing. Its strange that NGBC still has no release date,or maybe i missed it?

Ummmm....KOF XI is an Atomiswave game. The Atomiswave has not been emulated yet. And even if it were you'd need a godly fast PC to be able to run AW games at full speed.
