Kiryu first visits Osaka in Yakuza 2 / Kiwami 2 and it’s already pretty accurate but it has some famous stores included for real, including Daruma, Donki & Kani Doraku, not to mention the bridge that gives the view of Glico Man, plus the clown. This page is just about the street itself.
As you can see, it’s pretty much spot on.
If you take a detour behind Donki or other side street you will find the canal pretty much as you saw it in the game. Don’t try to dive in and look for a passageway to the Colosseum! Good for a little walk after a dinner or lunch to put that extra smile on your face, nerd! 😉
