Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown

Unfortunately, it would seem that no one else does, because I haven't encountered a single person online (and it's a Saturday, too!).

I got this because:
1. It looks really rewarding to play
2. I wanted to save my TTT2 money ($2.20 a game is ridiculous no matter how many times you slice it).

I got this on PS3. I'm really enjoying it. The netcode is pretty fantastic, I'm playing with people from the US without apparent lag.
It's somewhat refreshing playing a fighting game where you can pull sort of regularly the highest damage combos after playing a couple of days. It's very different from what I am used to and it's a lot of fun.

I bought the bundle for 25€ with all the costumes and stuff. it's easy to pull KOF characters! The basic game is 13€ and it's only missing the cosmetic stuff, if you are even remotely interested in fighting games it's pretty much an obligatory purchase.

I've been messing around with Akira, but Jean is my main because I bought the costume pack for him.
I actually ended up making a combo list for Jean in the vein of vanilla VF5 combo lists from VFDC. It's got his optimum combos for each weight class categorised by what launcher is used to start the combo (I even found a combo that only works on five characters).
It's all in a very well-organised spreadsheet.

Got it for PS3,everything feels so foreign since the last one I played was 4 on PS2.Doesn't help that they added all new animations for the old moves too.

There is a metric fuckton of customization options; can't wait to see what kind of stuff I can come up with. After spending the monies to get dat DLC though.

I'm pretty disappointed in the customization even though it's more or less what I was expecting (it IS still VF5, after all). Just glad I spent the $15 to pay for all the items at once, because those single character packs are a complete ripoff. 50-60% of the items are the same for every character, and the remaining ones are mostly just different colors for the same items, and even then it doesn't always have the color you want.
