Has anyone else noticed that nearly EVERYTHING was better before the new millennium?
Rap and hip-hop was better. e.g. Black Eyed Peas didn't have Fergie.
Pop was better, because auto-tune didn't exist back then - thanks, T-Pain. -.-
Anime was better. e.g. Trigun, Hokuto no Ken (started watching it, heb!) and dare I say it, DBZ.

Yes new anime doesn't appeal to me as much as the ones from a decade ago ... but that's because the audience is changing and I'm simply an old man who doesn't want to adapt haha

LOL yeah I watched a bit of it on Youtube recently. Apparently they're making it into a full series or something?

For the uninitiated, the screencap above is from a series of comedy anime shorts called 'DD Hokuto no Ken' whose premise is that the nuclear annihilation of the world didn't happen, so Ken, Raoh and Toki have to live in a normal world.

It features such amazing plotlines as

Raoh trying to pick up chicks and failing, and being unable to deal with rejection

I watched a fandub of that on YouTube today. Apparently the video had to be reversed otherwise it would've been cut off internationally or something. I found it quite amusing, however.
