Bufudyne it is then.

Site for the game is up. Screenshots ahoy.

The guy holding the kunai's persona? looks like Deadmau5 in his final form.

Trailer, which actually shows some characters who haven't been revealed yet in-game.

It's probably too much to ask but I hope they include the english VAs from the original in this. Normally I'd be okay with japanese but after 100+ hours with the english voice cast, hearing other voices for those characters would be... odd. On the upside if they don't include this option I won't have to put up with Chie's lousy dub.

Is anyone else concerned about this game potentially only having ten characters? I don't know what they plan to sell this for but 10 characters is by no means sufficient for a modern full priced fighter. And I have to wonder what they're doing for bosses. Since they're pushing the PSP version of P4 alongside this I can't see them ruining the story for folks who buy both entries. Hmm maybe they just make it Igor.

Agreed. Although I do question why he's dressed like M. Bison

BB had the option of both Japanese and English dubbing...and I think a few of the P4 VAs were in BB, so that won't be impossible.

Well, BB started off with 12 characters. Skullgirls is going to start with even less; around 8 (though in it's defense, it's a downloadable title). But both support DLC, and probably this will too.

I don't mind ten characters as long as each character is unique. It also helps with balance easier and I'm sure coming from Arc System, there's going to be 12381237123 expansions. I'm pretty sure one of the characters will be that new character in that P4 expansion for Vita since IIRC, this game takes places 2 months after P4 (which might be why there's only Aigis since she's the main character in The Answer, which probably takes place during this game as well).

If I can't have Rise as a playable character, I hope for Margaret!

This immediately popped into mind when I first saw him:

If the whole P4 cast is playable, then I'll be using Naoto and possibly Kanji.

YES.

Hope to see gameplay for Naoto soon. I wanna know what the skull symbol and numbers underneath the opponent's health bar mean.

I just noticed that there are some system details on the official site.

Bocoska Rush (really no idea how the hell to romanise that word):
Looks like a special type of attack where you can mash buttons for more damage? A big dust cloud appears as you beat the crap out of the opponent, and it looks like you can combo after that as well.

Bad Status
Looks like status effects from the JRPGs are making their way into this game as well. An example is given of one of Yousuke's moves (Tentarafu?) making it so that the opponent's controls are reversed. Similarly Naoto has a super that prevents his opponent from using their Persona-based attacks for a short while.

As for Rise, looks like she just offers commentary and random encouraging remarks.
