What game(s) are you playing?

I have to confess something.. I took my copy of MVC3 in to trade for store credit.. for KOFXIII (and Sonic Gen).
It may sound a bit defensive on some levels, but I honestly got tired of keeping up with a game that wasn't clearly finished.
But having to buy it all over again as Ultimate MVC3, I dunno I have to think it over. I'm looking towards KOFXIII and Sonic Gen more.

Don't fee bad, I traded in MVC3 after a few weeks.

I've too much pride to trade in the collector's edition of the MvC3 beta I bought.

SSFIV:AE
Mortal Kombat
Killzone 3

I play all of these sporadically. Passing time until late October when the beasts UC3, KOF XIII, and *sigh* UMvC3 comes out. Firebrand and Strange still makes that roster worth repurchasing it.

Fun fact: Finally hunkered down and beat Arkham Asylum. As much as I liked Asylum, I'll wait on City until next year. No need to get it when I won't be playing it much.

UMVC3? Firebrand and Strange? Yeah, they're cool, but who gives a rat's about good characters or team synergy? The only reason I'm getting UMVC3 is because of Phoenix Wright. Well, actually, it's because the only friend in my age group that would even slightly be interested in fighters loves Phoenix Wright. So that's why he's getting UMVC3. Which is why I'm getting UMVC3.
Phoenix Wright is still obligatory for my team, though.

I recently picked up Spider-man Shattered Dimensions. And I am addicted.. just the design, controls, and atmosphere.
Its like Dante mixed with webbing. (and the added mix of k'o-ing a boss, which I love doing)
And being able to obtain points, and unlock all sorts of goodies.

*What bugs me is that "Edge of Time" is only a few weeks away. I dunno if I can afford buying, or GameFly it.
Thought I could catch up before checking out Spidey's next adventure in time.

Vanquish is pretty damn awesome. Reminds me a lot of Metal Slug, a gorgeous, exciting ride without compromises. Also maybe, God Hand w/ guns.
I haven't checked but I bet it got shafted by reviews because it isn't 30 hours long with 25 of filler.

I read one review where the guy said it sucked because he couldn't play it like Gears of War, wtf. So the game gives you this awesome slowdown mechanic and the ability to boost around freely and you're playing it like a regular cover shooter?

Some people can't appreciate good things :(
