It'll be at PAX, so I'll see if I can give it a go. All I'll say for now is 'for god's sake do the PC version properly this time.'

Should I finish playing the first one?

I don't think you need to, really. I think they'll explain what happened in the last game in the intro, hopefully.

And yes, a better PC port plz, I hate seeing the game crashing at random intervals.

Still with the PC version eh SS? Shame as you'd be welcome on the PS3 front with Oro, Gunny, Stylu, and myself.

Oh yeah - hooray for B2!!! I freakin loved the first game sooooooo much (seriously)

I would be welcome, but my utter lack of aiming skill with an analog stick would not.

Doesn't the dice aim for you?

There is bullet spread controlled by the accuracy stat but that's no different than most other FPSes. Plus I like to go for critical shots which obviously requires some measure of aim.

Bit of a suprise to hear about this. I will be there and getting annoyed that you are not on the same timezone.

I agree with Oro - BL isn't really a game that requires perfect aim. I mean after playing TF2 on both the PS3 and PC I can confirm that the PC aiming makes a world of difference. I've never played PC BL but I can say that I noticed the aiming issues with the PS3 TF2 even before I tried the actual version. On the other hand I played through the entirety of BL and it's expansions without feeling limited in either hitting critical spots or plain just hitting targets.

Just out of curiousity did you happen to play as the Sniper? I ask because most Sirens are good with Oro's technique (I know I was)

But honestly I think the beauty of BL is less it's system (which while good can't hold a candle to an actual FPS) then it is it's coop/social play. I don't think I'd have liked BL nearly as much as I did if it wasn't for the ability to play with friends. And while most of my time was only with one other person I can confirm from my final days with the title that 3 to 4 players is just fantastic.

Just my 2 cents

I did play a Hunter in Borderlands, and I was pretty much always going for criticals. Hell even when I played a Soldier I went for criticals, simply because doing more damage = clearing out mobs faster.

Keep in mind that in games where you only fight AI characters they will tend to move far more predictably making it easier to track them even if you aren't going for criticals etc.

I wasn't being facetious, when it comes to borderlands, I don't bother to aim at all. I just point in the general direction of stuff and watch it die because I relied solely on doing elemental damage and running around while phased.

I don't have such luxuries playing Uncharted. :)

Borderlands 2 wasn't playable at PAX, but it looks like someone snuck a camera into the stage demo:

strangely that didn't quite get me hyped. Did like the dual wield and the midget. Too many robots and not enough new enemies. "We loved them so much we brought them back" meaning "we're recycling as much as possible to maximise profit?" Wow everyone's following Capcom's model.

Damn I thought Lillith was the last siren? And then we saw whatsername and now there's another? Well, can't remember where I heard she was the last, anyway...

So am I to understand that you won't be maining Maya in this game then Gunny?? I imagine Oro and I will (well I will be so far - don't like the Gunzerker) - It's a shame we won't see a continuation of the original's "Sisterhood of the Traveling Flame"
