Kind of powers up a few times but shuts down in a few seconds, i need to switch off/on the power supply if i want to retry, might take up to an hour to actually boot(!!!). While on i don't have any real issue other than it being a cranky old piece of shit.
It happened about 4 months ago that my router burned, and took to hell the pc port it was connected to. Pc worked so far, but now this. I'm more inclined to believe it's a motherboard issue, but i guess before shelling for pretty much a new pc i might as well try a new power supply.
I am a bit behind in hardware proficiency tho, I guess i can just buy a new power supply and it will just work for a 4-5 years old pc without problems?
And any other things i could try? Like diagnostics software, or whatever?
