I'm still searching for a squad..I'd love Dormammu to be on my team, but I have to play him as a keepaway character. I keep wanting to get up close and personal with him, which gets me raped. I do like Storm in this game though; didn't like her worth a damn in MvC2. I need some more practice time with Skrull though..he's still a favorite of mine.

I pretty much picked the game up because I wanted to use X-23. I picked Wolverine because I thought he might be familiar, he's not. ><

And then I remembered that nobody in this game has health other than Sentinel, Thor, Hulk, and a couple others. So I decided I'd just take the Hulk.

I'm considering Tronbonne because she's funny and Hsien Ko because someone raped me by spamming her assist repeatedly. I might pick up Taskmaster if they release an alternative costume from the Udon Series.

I didn't like MVC2 because it was far too chaotic for my liking. This game is far more controlled and deliberate, but it still might not be your cup of tea. I'd probably say it's less hectic than Guilty Gear.

The references in the game are pretty funny. The Ammy/Akuma post match quote was gold. If you played Okami, you'll remember why.

Hulk and Sentinel makes everyone's health look Phoenix-esque. And X-23 is a rapist.

Sentinel feels especially broken in level 3 X factor. His normals do massive chip. I often have to activate my X just to not die from chip damage. X-23 has the second least hp in the game. She's so squishy.

She may be squishy, but she's quite rapey. So damn fast..

Taskmaster has some weird floaty issues with his air combos from charging star into launcher into m m h s. Stuff doesn't hit most of the time. Add me on my new account A-K!

Then you can rape my fase cuz I suck at things that are not SFIV or KOF.

so far, my squad is Magneto, Iron Man, and Ryu. trying to get Ryu's assists to sync up with my combos is taking alittle time though.

Considering you have to press assist and the button at the same time, yes it's a pain.

Just picked up the game yesterday, and I can confirm that it is dope.
I just won my first (somewhat laggy) player match with Akuma/Deadpool/Viewtiful Joe.
Something useful for you guys who use Joe (or plan to), Viewtiful God Hand ( + 2) can be comboed from an OTG assist, like Wesker's Samurai Edge or Deadpool's Katana-rama. Here's an example combo (I'm using as S):
