Civilization V

Anyone else playing this?

I've been playing it recently (I played a bit of IV before that, and that was my first Civ game), and I'm having some fun with it. Not quite sure if I like it more than Civ IV yet - it does some things better (social policies!) and some things worse (diplomacy).

Pen and I actually have a multiplayer game going - maybe we can start a new one with anyone else who's interested? *Hint hint*

That said playing as Gandhi is a pain in the ass because of that extra unhappiness modifier generated by additional cities. It's like they're saying THOU SHALT NOT AIM FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT CULTURAL VICTORY or something, lol.

lol yeah, I tried playing as him. It is as exactly as you say. I think I like China and Japan :3 China's generals and Japan's bushido is awesome for war. Aztecs are fine too. I can be our allies protective state and we can try deity difficulty or something lolol.

I think Fuu plays civ too but not sure about c5. How long do turns take for you 2?
